Some of that was actually filmed at Mount Royal University and not just Sait (i.e. the scene of where Joel gets impaled by the bat)

This was such a cool video! We're from Oregon and will be visiting for the 1st time this summer. I was excited to see this video and that I'll be able to add some of these pit stops. I'm a huge fan of The Last of Us. Thanks for the awesome content!

Something that wasn't mentioned here but I will go ahead and add is that along with SAIT, they also shot a lot of scenes in episode 6 at Mount Royal University. It was definitely interesting to be walking around the MRU grounds on the weekdays as they prepared to film on the weekend.

A while ago, I learnt that 60% of hallmark movies are shot in Canada. Even other genres like Chicago, Mean girls etc were filmed in Canada.

Hi Karla and Matt. I haven't seen "The Last of Us" yet. I knew it was it shot in Alberta. Matt, you forgot to mention that Rice Howard Way in Downtown Edmonton was also used in the series. Hope the family is having a Safe Easter Weekend. Thank you for bringing us along on all the Adventures.

@@MustDoCanada108 street is the one going to the ledge ( Jasper Ave - looking south). If I remember correctly they also shot from the South grounds of the Ledge (between the river and Ledge). Rice Howard Way is close to Churchill Square. You can see Edmonton Centre in the background.

Hi, MDC Channel and host couple, Wow! Mathew you have almost recreated exact scenes of series, beautifully and asthestically. Which mean a moviestar/acting bug or hidden desire there, definitely, give it a chance. Excellently shots and produced video by both of you, just as series producers used VFX techniques for rusting buildings. Looking forward to Channel. So, keep on traveling, safely.

Great video! I like the idea of creating a road trip out of the locations. I think you did a great job of organizing the itinerary to see as much as possible. This is a lot of planning and driving, I appreciate the commitment.
