I literally came to say that - I think he's missed his calling lol.
@theDavitos
Жыл бұрын
no i dont think he miss his calling... reason why he is good saleperson is because its his legacy to farm and he want the best for the farm and want it to work even better. If he would have become a saleperson only then he would lack the fire in his heart to improve and grow so he would not study as much and just get stucked in the norm. Still he is what the farmers of today are all about and that is use the tech and new things to improve and study it well and do try and error.. old farmers just did what their parents did and bought same thing someone else in county tried and gave good feedback about even if it didnt fit the farm and they didnt use the info out there because it wasnt out there.. i still remember my grandpa ask me and anyone that came about how others are doing it and try to pick on new tips but my grandpa was still old school as they got but i am sure he wouldnt had dream about how high tech farmers are today.. i forgot to ask my grandpa died some time ago about how he picked cattle and such so i cant compare how he did it to the new type of farming.. well i got my father and uncle to ask but problem is my father is also old school so he would just take the pretty cows and mate it to pretty bull instead of going spreadsheet hunting and dna and all the number game that i am all about in breeding but i have also tried to learn the old school of how to build the cattle from look to pick the best trait and try to mate it to best trait bull out there and hope the bad trait of both dont ruin it all but best tip i heard was you cant take your eyes off for a sec as it can all go poorly fast and all it takes is one bad animal to ruin the good stock.

I learnt a lot from this video. Not a farmer although lived in the countryside beside farms for years. I hadn’t appreciated the difference between slurry and box muck and being able to separate the solids from the slurry and how beneficial this is. Really interesting. Have to say though you need to be careful where you’re standing when in the area of the muck heap

The only thing I could add to that would be to possibly have a board up to stop the solids building up between the tower legs if you run up a large pile or from when you push the material up and onto the heap. It’ll mean less time spent tidying up. First class audition to your system and a pleasure to watch as per normal.

Heck of an improvement for the farm. Love the idea of running the separator off of your solar panels!
