RIP lovely Gillian - I only worked with you once in Cats as Old Deuteronomy and you were there at nearly all of our rehearsals, aged 89, giving comprehensive and inspired notes that showed you still had as much passion as you always had. You had a wicked sense of humour and you and I shared many any inappropriate comedy moment. Love and best wishes on your next journey to the Heaviside layer. xx

@@melmel24247 She was very much part of the process until it changed to open again in Broadway recently. Chrissie Cartwright has choreographed it for about 20-30 years now and was originally in it.

It was an honor and privilege to have had the chance to work with this remarkable lady. When I was 13 yrs old I went to see my first Broadway show...CATS! A dream was born that day and 13 years later I made my Broadway debut in CATS and had many chances to work with her when she would visit for rehearsals. Such a blessing! Dance with the angels dear Gillie!

@@heresfrankbetches921 When it came time to do the revival Weber choose a different choreographer and they ruined the show. It didn’t even look like CATS except for the few small times they used Gillian’s choreography.

You're welcome. I'm not sure, it was just a few years ago when he did the revival. IDK who he got in England but for the Broadway show he hired the guy who choreographed Hamilton and it was really bad, the style was all wrong for CATS.
