We've gone over the structure of the earth, including continental and oceanic crust, but there is a vast ocean that sits atop that oceanic crust. If we want to understand every area of Earth's surface, we will certainly will have to discuss the layers of the ocean. How far down can light reach? What happens to the temperature and pressure as we venture down? What kinds of organisms might we find? Let's dive in and find out!
