9:05 “there’s a hole in the spending plans of 1.5 billion pounds.” Rishi would chew his own arm off for that today.

Tony Blair at that time looks right wing. Sunak has raised taxes to the Highest rate in 70 years Blair tax increases looks like nothing. And Blair at that time was against Homosexual marriage and against Transgenderism. Especially on social issues.

I was a teenager in the 1990s who was fed up of the bad changes that Major did ironically affect us today.Splitting up British Rail into failing franchises that last too long costing the taxpayer and Blair didnt change this system, keeping social services in councils, keeping councils instead of making England have just single councils. The parish council opposes the district council who opposes the county council.Axe layers of government which hold back progress and have less duplication and reinvest that into social care. The NHS didnt need PFI for hospitals,it needed to stop waste and close doctors and merge them into Hospitals saving the money. Also collecting enough tax.Taxes weren't simplified and are the most cumbersome and too many managers.Borrowing isn't necessary when you reduce tax avoidance and deport criminals who cost the state.Drug, alcohol, sex, gambling etc addictions cost society, the GCSE isn't right for our international country he should've scrapped it for the Baccalaureate, scrapped tuition fees for means tested students and for important subjects where skills are needed. Why ban grammar schools? it sends kids to private schools because they can't get in a grammar and private schools have screwed our society they have immoral behaviour and things in then.Stupid New Labour had hoodies going mad, jobless grew, Immigration grew, teen pregnancy was highest ever in 2007,the worst crash since 1977 and loads of corruption.Terrible that this was the first time I voted and had SDP,Liberal Tory and Liberal so where was the choice for 20 years?

Dimbleby's first question about the 1983 manifesto he stood on in public would go on to define Blair: in private, saying one thing; in public, another. He would say anything to get a vote. He changed British politics for the worse. Prior to him, the likes of Major, Kinnock, Thatcher, Foot, et al would (shock horror) sometimes answer the questions and admit they were wrong. Blair was the first style-over-substance British politician, like Boris Johnson or Barack Obama after him.

Don’t talk soft, Blair was one of the best Prime Ministers our country ever had and we were very lucky to have him. Look at the state of the country today after 13 years of Tory failure!

What the hell have you been smoking? Obama has admitted when he was wrong. Except you don't really mean when he was wrong. You just didn't like his policies. Newsflash, just because you don't like a policy doesn't mean the policy was wrong!

Capitalising on anything to the effect of 418 seats is worth ‘hype,’ it’s easy to look back in hindsight and disregard him after Iraq but he made New Labour happen when Brown was too soft to put the knife where it belonged in John Smith’s back
