This was really wonderful to listen to. A couple years ago I picked up Jack Of Shadows. And I've never been the same.

Hi, this was a really good podcast and it was funny to find out I also started the Amber series with Guns of Avalon back in 1976 and have read pretty much everything published by this fantastic writer. After listening to the show, I bought and read both Warren Lapine's Tribute and am 2/3rd through Immer, Zlaz: thank you so much for publishing those! I envy those who read Roger Zelazny for the first time, I am actually very jaleous of them, although re-read after re-read there is always something to unearth, so vast and rich his cultural reach was. So sad he left so early.

The Corwin cycle of the Amber books is an incredible work of art.

Harlan Ellison, George Alec Effinger, and Roger Zelazny were all from Cleveland, so the amusement park that closed must have been Euclid Beach Park, which shut down in the early Seventies or late Sixties. Their popcorn was fantastic.

Yes, Euclid Beach Park is named explicitly in "Immer, Zlaz". Stay Evil!

To Die in Italbar is one of my favorite books. So poetic. I don't understand why he regretted publishing it.
