I think his hair and beard made him who he is.. He wouldn't have been accepted by my culture and times had he been clean shaven. And he is STILL a handsome man with all his hair but I have always loved long hair and still do to this day and I am old. Not Leon old but old enough. SMILES!

Leon is still amazing! A day without watching a KZitem video of Leon-young or old--is like a day without sunshine. I've only seen him in concert once, but I would LOVE to see him again. What a musician!

Leon was a VERY handsome man before he covered it up with the hair and beard. I wonder if, in our superficial culture where beauty is so important, he had remained clean shaven with short hair for a few more years, he would have soared to the top of the top and stayed there even after he grew all the hair. Perhaps he was trying to get people to love his music, not his appearance. Someone should ask him... I love the guy, and most of all I love his music. Thanks Leon for making beautiful music

I loved his music and his appearance. Saw him several times and got a kick out of him flirting with the back up singers.

What I like about this particular video in my investigations so far is that I get to see Teddy Jack and Sugaree! It's cool that he's kept it a family affair. The soul this man has: I absolutely love Leon Russell!

The psychedelic era was the time! It brought many artists into the mainstream that might not have otherwise been discovered. I really like Leon Russel and his music. Too bad young people are so ignorant.

Some people forget where they came from and who gave them a hand along the way. Not Sir Elton. He reached back into his past and took the hand of a good man and friend and lifted him back to where he should be. You don't see that happen very much. I'm reading your "No natives get lost in the woods" again and I'm still laughing.

And so many wonderful players get overlooked , but we get beibers and Lady CACA. And the blackeyed peas. It never ceases to amaze me what you can get people to buy. leon is playing here tonight in Tampa, and i cant make it $40 max, but only obstructed views are left anyway. They cant tell the bad from the good. were out in the woods.

Truth is funnier than fiction. I am just glad to see Leon has "come back" thanks to Sir Elton of John. What a fantastic player he is, and always was. Just never got the respect he deserved, Look at George Benson's version of this Masquerade. No respect. Kind of like Faith Hill doing Joplin's Piece of My Heart. They should have both been shot for those songs. Sorry benson /Hill fans. There are some things that when heard finished, should be shit canned. Use ME.Jagger.
