“Femininity is not about desire, it’s about design” - love this so much because it points women back to Jesus and our identity in him ❤️

I’ve never been drawn towards the femininity movement because firstly, it’s not a word that I’ve seen in the bible. Rather, it involves some new age terms like « energies », and the « divine feminine ». Nothing to do with a biblical godly woman. Just new age stuff. Secondly, the goal is always getting or keeping a man. I find it demeaning that we should just live for the male gaze. I live to please God, knowing that a good relationship with God will attract the right people in my life. « But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. » Thirdly, a lot of things that are considered feminine or masculine traits are things that are defined by society based on what has been observed in most men and women. Again, for me the goal is not to be like most men or women, the goal is to be like Jesus. Kindness, for instance, is considered a feminine trait, yet the bible teaches everyone to be kind and tenderhearted. A man who desires to be masculine by society’s standards will disregard kindness (and I’ve heard a man saying « a man is not kind »). Disagreeableness is another trait which, in turn, is associated with masculinity. I’m naturally disagreeable as a woman. Will I change it to become a people pleaser just because most people pleasers are women? No

Thanks soo much for touching on this! I’ve been down the rabbit hole of femininity content and have been really wanting a Godly perspective that doesn’t centre around attracting men. Also this hair?! Please, Courtney. I’ve retired the wigs but if YOU come out with wigs again, I’m buying.

If I could like this video over and over again I would. Courtney, God bless you for availing yourself for this call. This is beautiful ❤ this video deserves to go far… My thoughts - I agree I believe that often times the church limits women to being Proverbs 31 women. But, for the first time after watching this being compared to the Holy Spirit is the most accurate comparison. There’s no limits w/ the Spirit. No limit in personality and more, I love it! The “soft” and the “verbose” woman can coexist with this comparison! 👏🏾👏🏾

Praise God for making us complete in Him! I therefore bind myself, but also my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents and the body of Christ to know one's full identity is found in God one's Creator while binding to hell feeling incomplete without lustful attention of the opposite sex, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone lacking to know one's full identity is found in God while lacking to feel complete without lustful attention of the opposite sex, in accordance with this word and genesis 1:26-27, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤!

I will never be like Jesus Christ (come on, I can do more than him like he said but that’s enough) and i will alwayS following his commands. He made me as an unique woman and anointed by Holy Spirit. To be like him is a non-sens and very dangerous to say that as well. He never said « Be like me » that’s why I have left church and christianity a lot of you don’t read really well the Scriptures and it shows. That’s never miss and yeah that’s sad. These feminine energy agenda is not for everyone tho’ and not really centered on men. In Bible we can see a lot of energy femine being well turned as well energy masculinity. Ask God more indication and perspective about youR feminine energy and the gift he puts on you perfectly. Stay blessed beautiful !

I have a few questions: You said an issue with the feminine energy content is it centres women around marriage & relationships but that God made women(independence connotation here). How do you reconcile the fact that all the other female creatures were created independently and only women were created from a component of a man, his rib and were called men's helper? You also said God created men and women as equals and are not less than men. How do you reconcile your statement with 1 Peter 3:7 "Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel..."
@Estee894
4 ай бұрын
Hey! I would say that although this was how women were created originally, this does not to suggest that being a helper is our only purpose. Men are also called to submit to their wives too, it is meant to be mutual (Ephesians 5:21-33) on 1 Peter 3:7 from what I know Women are described as the weaker vessel in terms of their physical capabilities not that they are of less value. hope this helps :)
@TheVimbiso
4 ай бұрын
@@Estee894hey Estee. The first point; that was the only purpose mentioned by the Creator she said we are supposed to reference. Are there any other or people add what they want? Yeah that physical weakness means we are not equal with men doesn't it?
@Estee894
4 ай бұрын
@@TheVimbiso Hi!! the purpose we are to follow, given by God our creator is Mark 12:30-31 as this is the greatest command and is not reserved for just men but all followers of christ, alongside that are many other indicators of what our purpose is, some examples are - Ephesians 5:1, Matthew 28:19-20 and John 14:6. Being a helper can be a part of a woman's purpose, but that verse in Genesis definitely isn't the only verse to reference or look to in order to understand our purpose as women

@@Estee894Hey, I hadn’t realized you responded, thank you. Here we are talking of the purpose of a woman and not human beings in general. That then changes the narrative because there is a collective purpose and gender based purposes. Spiritually, yes we are equal and even referred to as sons collectively in some cases and the bride of Christ in some but when it comes to earthly matters, there is a hierarchy on 1 Corinthians 11:3

I was truly so touched by this episode, Courtney 🩷 it was THE reminder I needed to fix my gaze back on Jesus and to stop seeking worldly knowledge because it will never fulfill like Jesus does and will. The world will require a million and one things, but Jesus only requires one thing: our commitment to Him. 🤍 And it is true that it applies to femininity as well. Thank you once again.
