Love the initiative as knowledge is being passed down. Imagine, I never played chess before and the first move is done by a White piece. This is truly remarkable.

Interesting subject suggestions. Definitely on board with some high level economic history & public speaking... and love the Ayn Rand punt, though recommending Rand without mentioning Atlas Shrugged seems like a missed opportunity ;) (BTW it's Ah-yin Rand - like the first letter of the Hebrew Alphabet). As a former competitive chess player I tried to introduce my daughter to the game but she just wasn't interested. I'm not sure how much kids would get out of it if they were forced to play. She took to Minecraft as a kid and I think she got quite a lot out of that too. She is now doing IB (International Baccalaureate) HL Maths, Physics and Art and is an incredible designer and artist. She also wrote her Extended Essay (like a mini thesis) on Atlas Shrugged so I think she got a good mix of exposure. If you (pl) are interested in Rand's ideas and Education check out Leonard Peikoff's "The DIM Hypothesis".

I think the subjects i would have for school would be; 1. Internet: trading, marketing, I.T. & web developement.etc. 2. How to start a business: do you register it!, sole trader, limited, VAT, Tax Returns, Using accounting programmes, excel, etc. 3. Money: raising funds - equity, gofundme, bank funding, government grants, leverage.etc. 4. Business ideas: Allied businesses you can work with, exponential growth (sell annual cotracts rather than one off sales), developing products/services, drop shipping, how to start with very little capital, how to get products to market. 5. How to hire and fire: basic labour laws, job fit, understanding the entrepreneurs vision. 6. Usual subjects: Maths, science, history , geography, English, Mandarin (just kidding). 7. Public speaking: communication is good, but getting peopke to comprehend is better. 8. Understanding property investment: how to buy a house without your own money, mortgage leverage, how to value property, understanding mortgages, property law. 9. God: who is He, how to get saved, baprised in the Spirit, grace vs law, how to find His purpose for your life, how to heal the sick, break curses & cast out demons.build relationships - with God and people.etc. The ANC government over regulates business and therefore stunts economic growth. Free economy and initiating start-ups will help.

I think Rob was fortunate, bcs he didn't strife that much to make his first 1 million dollars, simply bcs albeit his parents didn't assist him, he had a house for accommodation, food from his home, and as he indicated financial back up, that to me is confidence. Now i and many Africans who made their first 1 million not even dollars but Rands is a serious challenge and discipline, I'm talking of making it, the honest way, not through drugs, stealing and corruption, only through hard work, for a black man truly that's a train smash, i made mine at the age of 50, and i always thank God for that, bcs if it wasn't for God, i wouldn't be were i am today.
