Today, was the first ever 'Pacer' Gala held at the Llanelly & Mynydd Mawr Railway in Carmarthenshire, and saw all three of the Railway's Pacer units in action for the first time. Sets include 142006, 143606, and 143607. They ran in different combinations throughout the day, with all three on a run up the railway during the early afternoon. We were also treated to a fly past by the RAF Red Arrows. Also on show was the Dutch 08. and the cab of 47738.
A wonderful effort by all the Volunteers, who once again provided an excellent day for the visitors.
it was also great to meet up with Chris and Rosie Woolston, aka 'Wooltman', Mike and Nick Wilcock also David and Gethin Chamberlain.
