Translation? Aluminum= Aircraft steel? I like the tool concept.

This is more of a New York hook and a Boston rake than anything.

I don’t want to speak for Jon as it’s his tool but I imagine he would agree with you. He states that the tool is not revolutionary but tries instead to take the strengths of existing tool and combine them or improve on them slightly. I have never used a Boston rake so I can’t compare it to that but it is slightly heavier than an NY roof hook due to the thicker piping. This gives it more “ass” when striking and makes it less prone to bending. Thank you for your comment.

Jon made it himself. I am lucky enough to be on has crew as he made them for all of us. He collects pieces of scrap metal and then cuts out the shield and numbers They are then painted, polished, and riveted together.

So in the video it mentions an option with the fork end but everywhere I’ve looked to buy the only options are the chisel end and a D-handle. Anyone know where I can get the fork end version?

Hey Jacob. Thank you the question. The option you are looking for should be sold now by all Leatherhead Tools distributors. It is known as the claw and not the fork even though it does look like the fork of a halligan. I hope this helps.
