I am busy training for the Great North Run on 8th September 2024 & The Chester Marathon on 6th October, which are only 4 & 8 weeks away respectively. So today Sunday 11th August 2024 the training plan that I am following required me to complete a 30 Kilometres run in preparation for both events. I had to run all of it at an easy conversational pace within my Zone 2 heart rate which is 111-122 bpm. It was also an ideal occasion to check out my race day kit, nutrition & hydration for the up coming events. Take a look at the video to see how I got on and did I complete the whole 30k distance.
