The opening stage music in Journey to Silius is easily one of the greatest tunes ever played on the NES.

Sunsoft new exactly what they were doing. Checkout Gimmicks soundtrack - it's even better - kzitem.info/news/bejne/wKOl1omhhaKJhII

Yeah, I've been playing this hack a fair bit since it came out a year ago and it's really good. I appreciate the more realistically proportioned player sprite too (the hero of Journey to Silius always seemed a smidge 'cutesy' to me, looking more like a young teen than a grown soldier). Love a good rom hack. :)

Hahaha you're right, the character did look cutesy, almost like a Hudson or HAL type character

Terminator movies will always be legendary unfortunate old-school Terminator games were never great however Journey to Silius would have made a great terminator game by the looks of it i get a megaman/contra vibe perfect combo for a terminator game 👌👌👌

Eh, I dunno. Some old Terminator games were decent enough. The T2 arcade game was a lot of fun back then (especially with the full arcade cabinet) but loses something when played on a PC with a mouse instead of the light guns. The Terminator on Mega/Sega CD was one of the better games for that add-on. RoboCop Vs Terminator, particularly on Mega Drive/Genesis is a good time. :) The 1991 Terminator game for PC by Bethesda was pretty ambitious being all 3D and letting you choose to play as Kyle or the T-800. Of course it's primitive by modern standards but an interesting experiment for the time.

@@carn9507 I have to definetly agree with one of your mentions - Robocop Vs. Terminator is the best game I've played in either of those franchises, in particular the Sega Mega Drive version. I've tried the MAster System and SNES versions and I didn't think they compared well at all.

The legs on the Kyle sprite on the NES Terminator game bug the heck out of me. The way they're animated. It's so weird.

You shoud make the same video talking about the lost Superman game from Sunsoft that become Sunman that for some reason it wasn't released despite being 100% complete and talk about the Pacnsacdave restoration hack that changes Sunman back to Superman and change Specter (Sunman's archenemy) with Lex Luthor (Superman's archenemy).
