A great reason to have a low work bench is that once you decide you need something different, you haven’t invested a lot of money into your old one. Looks like you even harvested your old vice! Great video once again!

Thank you! Yes, is mostly for edge planing, but if I keep the stops squared to the side can shoot 90 deg too, but I prefer using the dedicated shooting board, cause here with too much shocks can destroy those sliding dovetails stops

Thank you! It's not my own invention, there are several comercial ones, Veritas makes it too, but is very easy to make and very usufull. Indeed I do have a small space, like 3x2m, 10x7ft.., after working before in the living room or the bedroom😀 After I arrange here a bit, I will make a shop tour!

Another great project and excellent video. Just a quick tip on English usage: the correct expression is “feet” not “feets”. Foot = 1, feet = more than 1. Yes, English is an illogical language. Keep up the great work!

Thank you Cris! Ahh, still a lot to work to reach your videos level :) Yes, that jig is very useful. Just that I've made it with 3mm thick strips so I don't have too much intermediate range. 1mm ones will do better, maybe from plastic sheets, similar to the commercial one that Veritas sells.

When you clamp in the vise a small piece, on one side of the jaw, the other side will have no support, so it will bend/twist/rack, so the vise's thread ane rods will break in time. With that you distribute the force equally
