Head phones on for this one! Really cool to be right next to the engine and
hear the beautiful harmonious sounds of the engine ramping up and down.
Will also show you the electrical cards that are the "electrical controlling stations"
on the locomotive's power control system. These cards are neat to see
and probably something no one has ever saw before, unless you would
be a loco mechanic or electrician.
Train is at the prep plant loading the cars with coal, here at Cumberland Mine
prep plant located near Kirby Pa. #22 locomotive has just had some serious
engine work done to it by and our contract mechanics and she sounds
great!
