Linkdude678 Hi! My name is Joshua P. Tewolde, and here’s my transcript of the Movie Narrator telling the story of The Making of The Rugrats Movie, one step at a time. Enjoy it and I really hope you like it: Introduction: 0:37 The Rugrats, everyone's favorite kids have burst on to the big screen in their greatest adventure yet, in The Rugrats Movie. 0:49 Paramount Pictures & Nickelodeon present the first animated movie about Contemporary Family Life. In this story, the Pickles Family welcomes a new arrival. 1:03 In the next half hour, join the fun as we meet the voices, 1:08 Preview the music, 1:11 Witness new secret computer animation techniques, 1:15 H ear the creation of sound effects, Visit the set of the hit music video, “Take Me There”, and explore the magic of the Rugrats. 1:28 The Making of the Rugrats Movie Part 1: 1:35 The Rugrats' Roller-Coaster-ride to the big screen began with the hit TV series, the #1 kids show on television. One reason for its popularity is its unique way point of view. 2:12 Expanding the world of the Rugrats into a Feature Length Film took nearly 3 years. It involved hundreds of artists from around the, who combined cutting edge anime and animation, original music, and lovable characters to tell an action packed story. 2:30 The filmmakers went beyond the distinctive look they pioneered in the TV series. 3:29 this story find the Rugrats' lives turn upside-down by a monumental event. Part 2: 7:33 for the actors, playing the Rugrats, brings the actors' voices in themselves. 8:10 The Film showcases several musical numbers. 8:20 Composer Mark Mothersbaugh founder of the rock group "Devo", brings an unusual perspective to the soundtrack. 8:42 One of the film's musical highlights take place at the Hospital Nursery where the Baby Dil was born. 8:53 An all-star team of recording artists past and present, contributed their voices to the songs. 9:46 Recording the musical numbers was just one step into bringing The Rugrats Movie to life. The whole process requires army of animators, using the latest techniques in computer animation. 10:19 The art direction process involves the addition of textures, shading, and special lighting effects. Using state of the art computer software, the technical team adds details that were impossible to create, when animation was done by hand. Each shot provided its own set of challenges. 10:45 Beginning with basic Pencil Test, a fat layer of color is added. 17 additional levels are then layered on top of the flat artwork, one step at a time. These included water texture, shadow effects, and ripples. After a floating log and bridge are inserted, additional shimmer effects and steam are added to complete the scene. 11:15 Some of the most difficult shots involved complex movements. 11:41 Each element of the shot incorporated multiple moves. A great deal of experimentation was required to capture the perfect illusion of gaining speed. 11:56 For the Animators, the most effective shots underscored the emotion of what is happening in the scene. 12:21 The Animators added 3 levels of lightning, and 4 levels of rain to the scene, with the addition of music and sound effects, the illusion was completed. 12:45 With the story that combines Drama, Emotion, and Humor, The Rugrats Movie appeals to both kids, & adults. Part 3: 17:25 The Rugrats travel on their adventures in a new invention developed by Stu Pickles. 17:52 The story takes the rugrats and their Reptar Wagon, DEEP into the Woods. 18:03 They encounter a Number of surprises - including a group of hungry monkeys that escaped from the Circus. 18:48 When the filmmakers set out to create sounds for the family monkeys, they found that you can’t beat the real thing. 20:25 Along with recording the animal sounds, AND human voices, the filmmakers had to create and ENTIRE WORLD of Rugrats sound-effects from scratch. 23:07 One musical highlight from the Rugrats Soundtrack is a song written by Elvis Costello and performed by No Doubt. It’s called, "I Throw My Toys Around" and it’s a tribute to Angelica. 24:19 Another song featured on the soundtrack is “Take Me There”, which became the basis for an exciting Music Video. 24:30 The concept was to place the live musical performers in the animated world of the rugrats. The first step was to build the set, bringing 2 dimensional animation to life, in 3 dimensions. 25:01 The song was broken down into segments. Blackstreet gave it a distinctive RMB rhythm. 25:14 One of the greatest challenges for the performers was perfecting the choreography. 25:34 The video includes a special rap segment featuring Mase & Blinky Blink driving the Reptar Wagon. 26:11 For the creators and performers involved in the video, working in the world of the Rugrats is an experience they will not soon forget. Part 4: 29:45 for all of the adventure of The Rugrats Movie, the heart of the story remains with the characters and their relationships.

remembering all of this makes me disappointed at how nickelodeon went from awesome to awful over the years. in the 1990s, nickelodeon was the awesomest channel ever, it was impossible to find even one little thing to complain about. in the mid-2000s, the channel started losing its quality, and now in the present, theres too much about nickelodeon to complain about because it lost all of its quality and now its the most awful channel ever.

Lil’s reaction after Phil finished eating the bug and looking happy about it was funny. It was also funny when Didi put the binky in Stu’s mouth while he was crying with Dil.

Starting at 2:50 and I don’t know where it stops, the music in the background is taken from the opening scene of the 1995 Paramount film Tommy Boy starring Chris Farley and David Spade. I find this interesting because Paramount made both of these films and both have David Spade in them. Also the name of the film and Tommy Pickles
