My oldest brother went there all of the time. I actually went down one time and Princess Margaret was there. For me, it was beautiful and warm. 0:32 These kind of people always seem to be obsessed with India, but not in the sense of loving the country or the people, but rather by *possessing*, *ownership*, *taking* physical parts of the country. Their "collections" seem like a socially acceptable way of fulfilling the latent imperialist yearnings certain members of their particular social class no doubt still have.

The still very beautiful Lady Glenconner must have been a very strong and patient woman during her life. ...Her husband, loosing her children, being Princess Margaret´s Lady in Waiting... And finally her husband gave all his money to his servant but nothing to his wife?! I like this woman very much, but these pictures here are somehow creepy in my humble opinion.
