This is the same guy who basically lost cleanly only 10 times in a nearly 30 year period! He had contracts that ensured he only lost when he wanted to and even then he would decide if it was clean or not! He basically lost 25 times in his entire career? Ten of those were cleanly to top stars on major shows like Sting, the Rock, Goldberg, Undertaker, Lesnar etc. That sums up his weird narcissistic personality! He lies like he breathes but the lies are to make him look good or tough and he's the most selfish wrestler in history who refused to lose matches all the time and had less losses than any other legend! If he was forced to lose he would do something to make himself look better and make his opponents look weaker! It's like he thought the losses were real losses? 🤦 He even wanted to beat Brock Lesnar when he was an old man! 😆 It's just laughable that he was so selfish and refused to put over new talent? He thought the Hulk character was too good to lose to guys like Brett Hart, Big Show, Kane etc etc etc Why guys like Bischoff and others kept letting him write these contracts that said he didn't have to lose unless he agreed to is beyond me? His ego is pathetic! I saw someone out up a video the other day criticizing Hogan as a wrestler and all the comments were 50 yo Hogan fanboys who were still in love with him and were defending his shit behaviour and lies 😆 it's funny hearing a 50 yo man say "I still take my vitamins, say my prayers and work out everyday thanks to Hogan!" Especially when Hogan was taking steroids and tons of recreational drugs instead of vitamins and probably only prayed to himself? "Praise the Lord Hulkster brother and the prophet Donald Trump and the virgin Brook Hogan! I thank him for our daily gimmicks and he'll never lose because this doesn't work for him brother! Hulk should have gone over against Lesner at 67 years old dude because the Hulkster would have won UFC one and Pride FC too brother! The Hulkster is coming for Kamala Harris and he's confused and angered by her ethnicity too? If she does become president then the Hulkster totally apologises and takes it all back brother! Hulk wants no smoke with the IRS or President Kamala brother! May the Hulkster bless and save Nick Hogan once again even though the lord wants him in prison with Vince MacMahon! Amen 🙏". 👏👊💥

Hogan's "lie" about gaining days by going back and forth to Japan is technically not a lie. The key word is gaining "days". Yes he would lose the time as soon as he came back to the US but he was gaining daylight and losing nights. So he was able to wrestle 2 events in one calendar day because of 2 days of daylight and he did this several times in the year. He was burning the candle at both ends losing sleep and quality of life, but he wasn't technically lying.

And although Lucifer - as the prince of all evil - used every demonic trick imaginable (steel chairs and such), Hogan exclaimed that “This hellfire doesn’t work for me, Brother!” Hogan body-slammed Satan (with every cell in Hogan’s body spontaneously combusting in the process), hit the devil with his Celestial Leg Drop and pinned the lord of darkness for the 1-2-3.

The lies like the Andre one, that he weighed 700 pounds and tore both biceps and broken 18 muscles in his back aren’t interesting. They don’t even sound like they could be true. The most interesting ones are the ones that seem plausible until you look at the details. Like the Elvis one. Elvis was a well known wrestling fan and would go to the Ellis Auditorium (pre-cursor to Mid-South Coliseum) and watch the matches. The detail that derails the story is that Hogan only debuted about a week before Elvis died in August ‘77, and it was in Florida not Memphis.

According to the excellent Andre biography 'Eighth Wonder Of The World', Andre had some fun at Hogan's expense in the lead up to Mania 3 by loudly querying whether he really had to put the Hulkster over and what would happen if he didn't; apparently that got Hogan really nervous. With the Wrestler, I think Hogan is throwing himself under the bus to put himself over. Like he’s saying “they wanted to put me in the movie, but Hollywood is so biased against me, that it never would have stood a chance.” He’s taking credit for *saving* the movie by turning it down. @@mondoseguendo6113 interesting story, that song was originally written for Barry Wyndham and Mike Rotunda. But Barry quit the company before it was released.

They are NOT lies if Hulk Hogan actually believes he's telling the truth.

Hulk Hogan was NEVER a session musician... Playing some bass and being a session musician is like comparing being an unknown indie wrestler to being a WWE Champion.

That could be a definite possibility. But, Hogan has told lies or boisterous stories for most of his career

Playing bass is one thing - playing bass for Metallica is another thing entirely. To be able to play in a band of that level and actually keep up with virtuoso musicians like James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, and Kirk Hammett requires an immense amount of skill. Metallica's three bassists dedicated their lives to learning and playing the bass in order to be at that level. Considering how much time Hogan spent on his wrestling career, there are simply not enough hours in a day for him to practice the bass enough to get anywhere near Metallica's level.

If it’s 1982 and Ron MCgovey, no one outside of the Bay Area knew who Metallica was at that time. After Cliff died, there was no chance Hogan would have auditioned for Metallica. Metallica was big, but they were not mainstream enough for Hogan to be familiar with. Jason Newstead quit in 2000, and they didn’t try hiring a bass player until 2003. Maybe Hogan is thinking of Spinal Tap.

My favorite lie of Hogan's is when he said he was going to split the continent in half after bodyslamming Andre the giant and then as everything sinks into the ocean he'd dogpaddle all the Hulkamaniacs to safety.

“Is Hulk Hogan a psychopath” - well, he’s probably not digging up bodies, but a lot of people who worked with him would probably answer yes for other reasons

No way Hogan tore all those muscles. After the match he did all of his posing in the ring. No way that would have happened if he had torn all those muscles.

This is why you can’t ever consider hogan for anything. If you need a pro wrestler type for a movie, you put out a casting call. The casting director calls hulks agent and says “maybe he can audition”. Hulk interprets that to “they wanted me in ….” No - they offered you an audition. As well as a thousand other people…

I love that Hulk Hogan always pretends that, not only did he not know if Andre the Giant was gonna let him slam him, but also acts like he was the first person to ever do it; this despite the fact that, not only had numerous other wrestlers slammed Andre in the past, WrestleMania 3 wasn’t even the first time Hogan had slammed Andre himself. Hogan is so full of shit, I’m surprised it’s not squirting out of his ears.
