I like to imagine what was going through Omar's head when he had less than half a second to come up with a name for their 50 minute long live jam session and ended up with "Abortion, The Other White Meat" I just know for sure that the conga player was having the time of his life.

Been years since I've heard this one. Just to add some info, most of the jams were eventually worked into Omar's Old Money album.

oh yeah alot of the motifs do sound similar to that album and also lots of 2005 era live jams like take the veil at the end and the climax of cassandra

I was there, 14 years old with my at the drive in tshirt on. And pissed they didn’t play any songs 😂. My dad felt so bad about my disappointment that he took me to their show a few months later 😂

@@growskull well keep in mind, first time about to see them, been wondering what songs are they going to play for about months, finally there, they come out, start with a little jam feeling like they’re building up to an intro in a song, and it never comes 😂. Now I love it, but only because I’ve seen them live after that. It was bitter sweet at the time.

I can hear a guitar riff from "Day of the Baphomets" in 11:40 and I love to find this kind details in any project related to Omar or Cedric.

yeah i feel like this and the jacob jams from 2006 might be scrapped albums. alot of parts are spread throughout omar solo albums

@@growskull thanks for the upload. Omar"s solo output is uncharted territory for me. Scary, there's so much of it... but now I'm motivated to explore!

@@growskullyeah, it seems Omar uploads either scrapped songs or demos from TMV a lot. Cool that we can still listen to some of it though, just wish it were all there.
