Thank you for sharing your content. I strongly suggest you study the works of Carlos Castaneda. You seem to be right on the edge of what the Toltec Seers call the Truths of Awareness. Be warned, however, there are forces aligned against us coming to know these truths (as they would set us free) that make these revelations hard to absorb. You seem to have developed enough discipline to conserve enough energy to succeed in this endeavor. I wish you well.

I have to say I'm really proud of you Dan. You were able to figure out how the world really is. It took me a lot longer to figure out how world really is. Now, I'm never going back to being a regular, brain-dead automaton ever again. I find most people don't question what they believe for a myriad of reasons, including fear, ego, intellectual laziness, etc. Friedrich Neitzsche figured out that people tend to be believers, not truth seekers. People believe things because they tend to think with emotion. I can't think that way, I need to understand the truth, because if you understand the truth, you can make better decisions. BTW, the number one person I question is myself. Questioning yourself is key to both humility and lifelong learning.

Great video boss! Really liked the idea of our mind putting "limits on infinity". Pretty hard to conceptualize but its a good way to explain why our minds created the everyday consciousness (the matrix) to control or understand the underlying intelligence (spiritual)

It's more the 'everyday consciousness' was created by others with influence (from politics to academia to the simple written word (the word was 'god')...it's all other peoples consciousness that your're indoctrinated with since the schoolroom), most people have never actually used their own brain to be fair...(to echo that sentiment in the film when Neo asks "Why do my eyes hurt" Morpheus"Because you've never used them"...Most of us have never used our brains...Sometimes when we do it starts to hurt...Well, no pain no gain.

Why would you want to impose your truth onto other people though? I think seeing YOUR truth as THE truth is rather shortsighted and contradicts critical thinking. There's only one fundamental principle that i adhere to and that is that an infinitely infinite infinity is a self-actualizing and self-realizing concept. And in order for it to be infinite it must include everything everywhere in every way at every point in time as per the true definition of infinity, that which has no limit or end. Therefore, it must self contain that it truly is infinite with and without exception.

In other words, "Faith", but not as how faith is defined secularly, because the secular view is looking at it according to its surface appearance. John 8:14-16 14¶Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. *15Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.* 16And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. Faith is based on understanding, not blind belief. It's the ability to perceive past the five senses and receive valid and legitimate forms of knowledge which the five senses cannot bring a person to.

Regarding the part of discussing other people's business, like celebrities, there is an aspect of that that I do understand. People have been assigning these qualities to mythical figures and idols to tell their own stories about how the world ought to be and i do see the value in that. It's fair to try to assign motives to these people's actions and for some scandals to be scandalous, and to stir up discussion and signaling like "I would never..." or "If I were them I would..." I'm not the type to do that a lot probably because my parents weren't the type of people to discuss that type of stuff often or watch that kinda TV but from other friends and some people who do enjoy that, I think I'm able to see the value in it. I see what you mean though and there is too much of that , a lot of which gets out of control, and a lot of people don't seem to take this kind of information as the game that it is and the powerful stories it tells but instead pay too much attention to plain dumb shit lol and just move in mob like ways Trying to put it in your words, I'd say something like "there are dynamics at play that are common across all stages that get amplified , or states in some stages that mirror states in other stages and it can be helpful to look at those and learn from them"

Thoughts are tricky because even the interpretation of them comes from a predisposed “knowledge” of which to gauge them from. This is all a big mindf**k but I think about seeing my thoughts + actions outside of myself Like you have to observe what your reactionary thoughts are as they come So it’s not even about thinking deeply per se but “seeing” what thoughts are arising as an outside perceiver (Deep thinking is the gateway though) Then seeing the implications of those thoughts as they apply to your everyday experience and interactions with others For me this has been a starting point for making sense of reality and my place in it The only thing I’ve read that’s coming close to “exiting the matrix” concept is becoming a high level meditator to Olympic athlete levels that puts you in full control or at least more control of your default mode network. Some have referred to this as enlightenment. I don’t have the evidence but it’s an interesting take. Anyways, Great video Dan! Love your perspective 🙌🏼

@@yourlocal_ In reading something, probably something by Malcolm Gladwell, or maybe the Talent Code (great book). I came across a statistic which, if I remember correctly, talked about using the encyclopedia and noting any person who had 1/2 a page or more dedicated to them. The percentage of high achievers who grew up without a father in the home was some ridiculously high number. I want to say like 75% (but I'm probably wrong). Some switch is flipped "there is no protector, I must do more". This does not mean that all fathers should immediately pack up and leave, it was just an interesting thing to read as I grew up in a fatherless household myself. I came from poverty, but ended up pretty well off, and consider myself a deep thinker. Why am I here then on Dan Koe's channel? Because sometimes we just end up where we end up and one day realize we are curious about the far shore over there 🙂 Anyways. Thanks for your comment.

First eliminate all fear from your self. This is tough. Took me years. Then focus on your goal, money, solving a problem even if it’s in someone else’s control or whatever it is. Sit in a peaceful place and focus on what you want. Then ask for it out Loud. You may be shocked at the outcome. Seems cheesy but you may not get what you want but you will get what you need. We are all connected. By thinking and asking you are putting in an order. I don’t do this everyday. But when I have it had surprising results. Also if you haven’t already, stop watching or reading the news. It’s putting negativity directly in your consciousness whether you know it or not. It’s design is to lower your vibrations. Really interesting point about how to find that edge of insight: consciously ask yourself "what do I *not* know about this yet?" and fill in the gaps. Another question I like is: "How is this *the same* as something that seems completely opposite?" For example, what I've learned about CPU architecture teaches me a lot about how the mind works and can be more productive.

You talk a lot about success. Can you go into why it is important/ worth striving to be successful in your opinion? I have always been a disciplined person and have made good progress in my career for my age (mid twenties). As I have explored spirituality and in particular Buddhism more the past years, I feel an increasing dispassion towards the stereotype of success. This has also made it difficult for me to define a vision of my future. I can come up with an anti-vision, but due to the dispassion for most materialistic things, I am not sure what I want my future to look like.
