Thank you for the very detailed series featuring the history of the Peabody estate. As one of the literally hundreds of Franciscan seminarians who lived on and were schooled in Franciscan facilities developed on the property after the Peabody estate was settled, it is very special to see such care in the research and preservation of the history and Peabody mansion on that famed location.

Thanks for watching and commenting on this series! Very glad that you find it interesting and informative. There is much history regarding this site - and much information as well. We, along with the DuPage County Forest Preserve district, felt this series would help to tell the site's story more completely and accurately. Stay tuned for the third act! Thanks again!

Thank you for this thorough history to the Mayslake Peabody Estate and the Francis Peabody family and the Peabody Coal Company. I found this video highly informative. As usual, you did a wonderful job of researching the subject before you published this video. I was unaware of the connection between Francis Peabody and Samuel Insull. Thanks for watching and for the loyal support! We very much appreciate it! Very glad that you found the video interesting and informative! Yes, the relationship between Insull and Peabody is interesting. They had a tight business relationship, as Peabody provided Insull with most of the coal for many of his electric utilities and railroads. They obviously also had much in common and undoubtedly influenced one another.

One small factual error: The Palmer House Hotel is NOT on Michigan Avenue. It's between State and Wabash.

Hi, Thanks for watching and for the question! Are you referring to the dream sequence or the Francis Peabody death sequence? The dream sequence were all AI generated images. The Francis Peabody death sequence were a combination of different image types. A handful of images were period photos, one coming from the Chicago Tribune (prior to the start of the fox hunt), which we colorized. We used an AI tool to colorize those period images (as well as some hand retouching). Many of the images in the Francis Peabody death sequence were also generated via IA imaging. If you look in the bottom right corner of every image, we always denote the source of the image, except when the photo/video was directly taken by us. If the image credit states AI followed by Bing Image Creator or Tencentarc, then the image was generated from those AI tools (usually via many iterations - and usually with some final hand editing). We made something of an artistic choice to denote the dream sequence and the death sequence in color. Thanks for asking!
