That could be a specifically local tradition. Where I came from, the Easter eggs were hidden (by parents) in different parts of the garden for the children to find, as in a treasure hunt.

Yes chicks do not like to be cooped up in eggs. Past a certain point, they emerge, just as children love to help easter eggs emerge from their hiding places.@@soniavadnjal7553

I was told of a Pakistani flag flying on top of the Westminster Abbey. I was thinking what the fate of the monarchy in an increasingly Islamized Britain would be. How long before the same flag flying (even for half a day) atop the Buckingham Palace?

Maybe, one day the Royal Family will Convert to Islam and Islam will become the state Religion of the United Kingdom. Islamic Leaders might be so overjoyed at this turn of events that that they become stunch Monarchists. The Royal Family adjusts to the New Reality and cary on as before... This is a possibility!

It could have been flown in solidarity with the Pakistani Christians who are being persecuted in their country. Anyhow, all of the Pakistanis in the UK that I’ve known have been wonderful people. There was a Pakistani Roman Catholic priest serving the Isle of Islay for a while a few years ago. Not sure where he’s serving now in the UK. The flag that we need to be concerned about is the rainbow one and that transcends national boundaries. The rainbow flag is VERY dangerous.

The rainbow flag being flown all around the UK and indeed the world is the flag you need to be worried about.

@@user-li2bo1qt1b To fly Pakistani flag atop the Westminster Abbey is not the appropriate gesture of solidarity with the persecuted Christian minority of Pakistan especially when the persecution is carried out by the populace whose symbol is the flag in question. In my mind it's more a signal shot to let the British know that Islam is on the way to replacing Christianity.

Also, I believe tradition in the East has it that St Mary Magdalene when before the emperor (or other authority) miraculous produced a red egg in confirmation of her testimony of the resurrection. In the Orthodox Church, we receive a red egg after the midnight Easter liturgy.

Very few elite members of our Society are remotely Christian. If King Charles the 3rd just stands up for the Liberties of Christians we should be happy and support him even if he himself is not a Christian.

The egg is very deep, with christian symbolism that existed long before Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of 'the christ'. The crucifixion is inseperable from the 'Orphic Egg' and the 'Iron ulna of our Lord', the 3:4:5 based megalithic Eggs of Alexander Thom, two prime examples being those at Carnac, but also relate to Stonehenge to record the sacred proportions of 'in the Image of God'. Just as these proportions and Earth measure relate Earth to city (1:43,200) > temple (1:432,000) > human (1:4,320,000) > skull (1:43,200,000) > 3rd eye (1:432,000,000). Why ? Because the 'image of God' is inseperable from the Covenant with God...the geometry of the Rainbow (aka the Throne of Heaven). Specifically as the round table of 13 lunar phases, at dawn on the cardinal sunrise of the Spring equinox, as the day of the cross (Good Friday).

Britain is a post-Christian country? Not sure about that at all. Christianity deeply rooted into Britain's culture and values. The roots and the resonances continue on despite lack of observances.

A quick search informs you that “Inuits in northern Alaska, did practice senilicide (the killing of the elderly), as well as infanticide (killing babies, especially with female babies), and even invalidicide (killing the irrecoverably sick or disabled)”. Sin has been among every nation. The pure innocent savage is just a myth.
