After that they fled to Sicily, Venice, London, and eventually to early Virginian Colony. My life of 71 years has been so blessed by sweet, kind Jewish people, I feel closer to you than most Christians! Rabbi Gold sat with my husband when our little girl Theresa was dying...all night at the hospital. It was a choice from God, because the Rabbi was so much more real than someone "with all the answers". In classical music we had Holocaust survivors who taught us...both Jewish and Christian. It seems like whene ver we had a serious problem one of your kind helped. I believe our Lord wants me to tell you how much such Jewish people have meant to the general population everywhere. One year we went to a get together at a Conservative temple for Hannukah. I was the only one who knew the words to Rock of Ages and sang out...it made me sad, but with my little Mary medal and love for "my" Jews in life, it seemed very sweet. May this Yom Kippur be very singular in offerings for the world's sorrows and problems. Thanks for the talk.... Deanna Clark

I think 🤔 my story is similar to that woman, I’m a Jewish soul trapped in the wrong side of the world. Since I’m 12 my soul knew it, I used to run out of Catholicism, it Di ousted me. I used to look outside my window to my neighbors celebrating Succot, I live the Sinagoge street in my country and beside a Maccabi. There was a mezuzah in 1 door left by the family who lived there before, I used to kissed it. When I was 18 and sent to study in the USA I grabbed the Mezuzah with such strength, I felt it was mine. Once I got to Gainesville, Florida my best friend a Jewish Colombian girl, who took me to Hillel in Shabbat there I dance either Ysraeli Argentina dancers. My coincidences kep on going and going with the Jewish people. My son was born in Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, still I’m longing for what I couldn’t have. I self teach myself and mediating on the names of God in Hebrew and singing Tefila or tefilim in Hebrew is what united my souls with Jewish ppl and the Lord. Tears comes out my eyes with sorrow.Truth the Beautiful meaning of every single detail of the prayers, blessings, the washed of the hands. Nothing brings me closer To our Holy Father and Creator than the Jewish practice. How I wish I could be in the place were any Jewish is today to be able to do every single beautiful practice that I can’t see as a commandment but rather as an elevation & councious of my identity and the love we can share with the Almighty!. Yeah, but you're not. Your'e a Talmud -- descended from the Khazars. The Khazar king literally chose your religion for you by spinning a top. It was between Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and Talmudism. Judaism won, but the tenets the Khazars adopted (to replace their religion of Phallus worship) is much closer to Talmudism. The principle of keeping one's word to some God in the sky was so foreign to the Khazars that they came up with Kol Nidre to put the population at ease about their new, assigned faith. I just heard of this Kol Nidrei thing and was looking into it. Some say that the only promises the Kal Nidrei allows one to weasel out of is those which you didn't actually plan to break when you made them. This vid seems to imply that the Kol Nidrei was conceived of in order to weasel out of promises made in order to save your skin and logic would indicate that those, being the product of coercion, were never intended to be adhered to. God called His people 'stiff-necked' in the writings of old. He loved them and did not want to see them destroyed. So He punished them to try and get them to repent and be saved from destruction. Oh Jerusalem! Why do you kill the prophets sent to you? The time of Jacob's trouble is at hand. Many will meet their doom. Why God? Why? Is it not because Messiah will show up and defeat the wicked one and his armies? He will save the few left of Israel. They will see Him up close and ask Him where He got the scars. He will say, "In the house of my friends." Then finally the stiff-necked will become humble servents of Messiah.

Release from obligations we really did not mean to take? I was taught it was from sincere vows to G-D which we were unable to fulfill because it was beyond our capabilities, it involves danger, it would require violating religious or secular law, or other reasons not our fault. Though it is true the current form of Kol Nidre was written in response to the forced conversions. I understand the current form was written during the Spanish Inquisition, and that the original was written for the Nazirite who could not fulfill his oath.

Greetings , i would be very much interested in your opinion, and the opinion of others; Is it possible that typology of Leviticus 16:5 represents Esau, Jacob, and Isaac? and by further extension represents Christians and Jews. Esau is the goat for the Lord, Jacob is the scapegoat, and Isaac the ram. All three represent the One Messiah Jehosha in the triune atoning sacrifice for our sins. This reasoning is based on the Hebrew word "saw-eer" in Lev 16:5, this word is first used in Genesis ch 27, where Esau is "saw-eer", and Jacob becomes "saw-eer azazel", when Rebekah places the skin of the goat on him and he is told to escape to Laban. The word "azazel" also means strong one against God, or God fighter, as does the name Israel given to Jacob. Day of Atonement is also the Day of Reconciliation, pointing to the prophetic reconciliation between members of the Biblical family, that is Christians, Jews, and Messiah Jehoshua . Malachi 4:4-6"

Pardon my lack of knowledge and thanks for answer in advance. In short : is it immoral or simply symbolic thing which i can not comprehend because i am not Jewish? Best regards.
@MFPhoto1
5 жыл бұрын
No, it does not apply to any oath made to a man. It only applies to oaths made to G-D which we honestly intended to fulfill, but were unable to. Have you ever made a promise to a friend or family member which you could not keep, even if you honestly intended to keep it. Something beyond your control kept you from fulfilling your word. One the one hand, I am sure your friend or family member would understand, but on the other there would be a division between the two of you which would have to be healed. Now what if the same thing happened with G-D. You make an honest vow, but you are unable to fulfill it. G-D understands, but still dispute your best efforts a division is created. Yom Kippur is a time to wipe the slate clean and start all over. OK, I failed last year. This year I will try again. Kol Nidre helps to clear the board so we can start over. King Solomon warned us about making vows. My suggestion is to make that vow a goal instead. You fail, you don't break your word. You just try again.
