this entire set was an EXPERIENCE. I'm not very well versed with Jazz composition in general, but I deep enough into my own musicality to appreciate the sheer amount of talent and love that something like this must have taken. Each one of you are geniuses in your own right, and as I listen to this for the 12th? time today, I can only hope that there is more in store for all of you. Just pure excellence on display here.

Holy shit boys, this goes HARD. I love how your sound has come together over time, but this feels landmark. This is beautiful stuff. Get as many ears as you can on this. I know I hear Coltrane in this, and I’m gonna have to check out MF DOOM now. There’s others in there too, but I think that’s y’all’s own voices coming through. Y’all are on the right path.

I heard an interview once Doom said he only ever listens to Jazz and never hip hop you can really tell that eith his flow and his cadence the way he randomly dips in and out and jumps around the track very free like a jazz player

When I started watching Adult Swim I had no idea how much they promoted underground music. I slowly learned more about MF Doom (And other artists) and came to realize how amazing his work is. Glad to see people today still honoring his amazing music.

Dude, I can't even say how happy it makes me to see cats like you keeping straight-ahead combo playing fresh. There's nothing wrong with trying to perfect the style of Coltrane at cocktail lounges so you can earn the right to vibe check people, but that's not going to move the genre forward to renewed relevance. Incredible love how you captured the energy and improvisational side of jazz in these covers. MF DOOM was one of the few that took that art of rhyming to the jazz level and this is a truly great homage. Amazing work hope to see this live 1 day. As a learning pianist I was blown away by that solo.
