An IndyCar race exclusively on Peacock will suck in 2 weeks when they race on the Streets of Toronto. Mid-Ohio should have a great IndyCar race on Sunday and if we're lucky we'll get a great finish like Dixon vs Rosenqvist in 2019 or Newgarden holding off Ericsson last year. Hopefully Rossi finally ends the winless streak. @David Land, IndyCar > NASCAR.

Man I hate Peacock. I usually watch a little while after live, that way I can get things done for the day before sitting down and watching a race in the afternoon, and skipping commercials. But Peacock won't let me watch live content from the beginning until long after it's over. With DVR I can start watching a race at anytime. Streaming on Peacock sucks for live sports.

I like him but I was at Indy in 17 and he was standing outside his (Foyt) garage by himself so I came up to talk to him and I got the typical cold shoulder routine they pretty much all give. I understand there are lots of goofy people that come up to them and would talk their ear off but I’m not goofy and I started off talking about seeing his Dad race in F1 Vegas in 1981 so ………. I’ve approached Graham 2-3 times and it’s like we know each other. Very cool guy. Talked to Bobby once and he was very nice. It was his last year 1998.

About the keyhole at mid Ohio when exiting the keyhole it’s opposite camber and just plain cruel but besides from that it’s an exciting track
@jamesrasmussen7819

Driven the track many times, agree exiting the keyhole with the off camber surface is is a challenge. It’s similar to 13 at R.A. 13, up hill off camber and blind. I’ve dropped a wheel of there on occasion. M.O. is one of my favorite tracks to drive. I like Simons observation, the track does rubber up nicely.

Great interviews AGAIN by DL. His interviews always assume the viewer/listener is informed and not watching an Indy race/ interview for the first time. He also seems to be appreciated by those he is interviewing. They know he's in the press area because he earned his way there. Didn't just show up with the three letters of a major network on his shirt. Racing and racers are all about "earning it."

Overall I think the race is gonna be a two stop race. Hopefully a good race just like we had a Road America two week ago. I know mid Ohio is a tough track. I don’t know who win. Joseph Newgarden is hot streaks so he has a great shot of winning. He won it last year at Mid-Ohio. If Rossi doesn’t win hopefully he gets another podium finish. I hope pato O’Ward has a great race at Mid-Ohio. It’s gonna be a great Fourth of July weekend at Mid Ohio.

So much different, I watch lots of F1, this type of interview so much less pretentious, Hamilton and cronies. This is blue collar racing. Anyone can win week to week. With a few exceptions, AJ etc, unfortunately. Veekay, Palou and O’Ward have really brought new blood to the series. Jimmy has been a good addition, he could win on oval, jmo.

When you say blue collar racing, I feel like you mean that it’s honest racing. I agree with you. I love F1 but the drivers are pretty uptight and fake. Although, I think Vettel has definitely changed in the last few years and brought some honesty to F1. Indycar drivers just seem to be very open and real when they talk. I can’t even hardly watch NASCAR drivers talk because they can’t say 4 words without mentioning a sponsor.

@@chrisbynum4940 F1 has become more and more political. Andretti isn’t welcome from majority of teams, it cuts their profits by a percentage. I attended Detroit F1 in 80s, had a $100 pit photo pass, could touch the cars in the pit, amazing, not today. I follow F1 and all other series, but Indy under Penske direction is the best. Maybe elitist or white collar compared to nascar etc, but Indy 500 is still americas race. The interviews by DL in this video, the ability to stand with a mic and talk to these drivers, compared to F1, and even nascar, with their press and team people always with them, shows how Indy isn’t a circus like F1. The horrible Miami F1 and other pre race celebrities I’ve seen, shunned towards Martin Brundle etc, ridiculous. Indy last year and this year, will probably go down to last race. I’d actually like to see a few more ovals though. In the old day, Andretti, Foyt, Unsers etc, it was mostly oval and occasional road, now it’s flipped. Penske is a genius businessman, best thing that could happen to Indy as a series.

All natural Road courses for Indy car accept Long Beach and St Pete. We need to bring back more ovals we need Michigan back we need Milwaukee back more oval track races Formula 1 will take over America road racing. Once they get three races in America watch and see. We have the most exciting unpredictable Series in the world. We got a terrible TV package here's Formula 1 can go start to finish with no commercials.
