This is the kind of song you hear after something just went south. With the sound of rains pouring you realize that in the grand scheme of things it’s a minor setback. But it’s all in your own head, in the moment you shrug it ppt off as everything is normal. Meanwhile the sound of the Saxophone is that inner voice that’s critiquing everything you do. The guitar is the adrenaline that propels you to keep doing what you do…. Sorry is get carried away over analyzing this song, and the mood it gives. Y'all talking about the music syncing at 0:40 But what about the slo-mo at 1:20. That was beautiful. Even though it only lasted for 4 seconds.

I love the softness of the keyboard (can hear better at 2:51). Reminds me a sweet rainy/snowy night. Something magical.

Listen, and understand! The Midnight is out there! It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop... ever, until you are alive.
