They have kept coming back but I’ve cut them down with the strimmer , now I know this wonderful information I shall let them grow!!! As if had / have this growing in my own back garden! Thank you so much, I love your videos and your love of Gods creation. ❤

Mullein has become one of my favourite herbs. My mum had bronchitis a few months ago, i offered her my homemade tincture, but she went with the pharmaceutical antibiotics, anyway it wouldn't budge, she finished the course and was still really poorly with it. I finally convinced her to try the tincture, within days she started to improve, after about 8 days she was pretty much back to normal. She was so shocked, she also has COPD and now uses it daily and has said she'll never take what the doc gives again.

@@friedajones2528just loosely fill a small mason jar with DRIED mullein blossoms then pour in olive oil to the brim. Put a lid on it and allow it to infuse in a warm, dark place for 6 weeks. Strain, pressing the blossoms to capture as much oil as possible and pour into dropper bottles. It’s really important to use dried blossoms as any moisture would create an environment for bacterial growth (not what you want to be dropping into your ear!) For warm, dark infusing I use a seed heating mat inside a zip top insulated grocery bag.

I planted 11 mullein plants started from seed this year, and 2 survived. I'm very thankful for those two, and plan to plant more next year. I remembered them from my childhood, but didn't know what they were until a few years ago. My husband and I struggle with bronchitis and pneumonia in the winter, and I was looking for a safe source of mullein near me, and haven't found one. The roadside isn't a good place, since they are sprayed. Also, mullein isn't as copious here, probably because they are eradicated more often than not. Thank you for going over all the benefits. I plan to tincture flowers next year, and make syrup when I get enough of them growing.
