On part two through the River Journey, this tour shows how the Tennessee Aquarium continues to go under appreciated. From the Appalachian Mountains, the flow goes south and falls into the Mississippi River. The aquarium's third gallery brings you to the bayou, and offers a look at both worlds of the swamp - above and below. Snapping turtles, gars, ducks, and an abundance of active alligators swim right passed your eyes in this living and seasonal cypress forest. Right around the corner we also explore one of the world's first and only feature of giant freshwater fish from all over the world sharing the same environment. Enjoy.
