@@harishvenugopal2877 camille was clever in her line of questioning--she first asked heard about the press waiting outside the courthouse following her divorce file and allowed her to make the claim she "had not expected" them to be there/was just as surprised as anyone that they showed up so quickly (said she brought her publicist for the possibility). essentially trying to spin the narrative that the press found out about the divorce because her and depp are such prominent figures in the public eye. THEN camille played the 2016 deposition where heard admitted to having knowledge that TMZ was already aware she planned to file for divorce (something she hadn't intended to voice during her 2016 deposition and hurriedly cut herself off and covered her mouth). so camille trapped her and debunked heard's claim that she hadn't told anyone or leaked anything about the divorce, which also supported camille's previous question: who leaked the video of depp slamming cabinets closed to TMZ? same source, likely the same person.

Just to summarise factually. At this stage, Amber had said under testimony that multiple police officers tending to the domestic violence call have been wrong in their assessment of her having no injuries to speak off. Both a doctor and a nurse have been wrong in seeing no evidence of injuries when they have seen her the day after she was assaulted and claimed she had horrible injuries. A nurse was wrong in saying she witnessed amber throw a can or bottle at jonny. His security team are wrong for witnessing her assault him or throw verbal abuse at him. The house staff / personal assistants are also incorrect for witnessing her follow and verbally abuse him. A photo is wrong showing injuries to jonny , which she claims is now photoshopped. Photos of her showing no injuries are also wrong as she had make up on which also shows no swelling because " ice ". A video showing her being cuddly and close with James Franco is also wrong because nothing is going on.. She herself is also wrong because she didn't hit him despite admitted she did. And didn't punch him despite admitting she did. Because of a door accidentally grazing her toes. Dr curry is wrong for mis diagnosing her with no evidence. So at this stage. This is the thing that wins johnny the case. It's hard to win defamation cases, you have to prove there was malicious intent. And yet here Amber admitted to wanting the publicity even though her testimony she said that she didn't want it. It undermines everything that she was saying before and now proves that her intent WAS to defame Johnny. he wins.

The fact that she has been caught out multiple times for lying under oath, one of which is literally proven with video evidence, and yet she hasn't been reprimanded let alone sentenced for perjury (which disrupts the process and can even have jail time given to people who commit such an offense). It's insulting not only to all other American courts but the whole world and every judicial system. Given it's a civil case I'm sure it would be less severe, but as the person who is suing Depp, having clearly lied under oath should have thrown her whole case underwater (if it hadn't already sunk further than the titanic at this point) The case not being ended shortly after this is proof they just wanted to waste tax payer money and resources on a literal comedy tv.

Defamation includes both slander and libel. Generally, slander occurs when the reputation or good name of someone is damaged as a result of false statements that are made orally. Libel, on the other hand, occurs when false statements regarding another are put in writing. Whether a particular statement, oral or written, constitutes defamation in the nature of slander or libel will depend upon the particular circumstances and the identity of the parties. To prevail in a defamation lawsuit, a plaintiff must prove that the defendant made a false and defamatory statement about the plaintiff that was communicated to a third party. Thus, a false and objectionable statement sent in an email to the plaintiff’s co-worker may be libelous. The plaintiff can usually succeed by showing the communication was either intentional or negligent. Finally, it is also possible for the plaintiff to bring a libel suit where the plaintiff repeats the alleged defamatory statement. This is called self-publication. This can occur, for example, when an individual applies for a job and has to tell the prospective employer about something the previous employer said was false. Before beginning a libel or slander lawsuit, the plaintiff must determine whether or not the objectionable statement is true. No matter how damaging, insensitive, rude or inappropriate a statement may be, the plaintiff will lose if the statement is true. The public plaintiff has additional hurdles to overcome to recover for libel or slander. An example of a public figure is a politician. Along with establishing all of the regular elements of the tort, a plaintiff who is a public figure must also show that the defendant knew the false statement was false, or at least acted with reckless disregard as to its truthfulness. Newspapers may escape liability for libel when they merely report false statements as long as the paper had no particular reason to doubt the statement at the time it was printed. Finally, the plaintiff often has to prove economic harm in order to recover on a defamation suit. Therefore, the plaintiff may need to be able to demonstrate a loss of business as a result of the defamation in order to establish a right to the recovery of money. However, some types of statements are so damaging that the plaintiff does not have to prove any economic loss. These statements tend to be those that accuse the plaintiff of sexual impropriety or criminal conduct.

Well I think Depp's team has a slam dunk here, don't they! Hahahaha. Good on them. Especially presenting this insanely important piece today. Intent was there. I'm speculating of course, but it almost seems as if Amber was reaching out to Jerry in order to tell Johnny "If you dont (insert her bullshit demand of him here), then I am going to release this to TMZ after I file for divorce." Seems very plausible to have occurred based on her audio recordings where she keeps promising she wont threaten divorce. She was making threats months in advance of divorce according to those tapes. It makes sense that she would taunt him or try to trick him into staying, using that phone call to Jerry as a final chance for Johnny to come crawl back to her. But he stood his ground. he stood up for himself and walked away. And she was forced to let her insane brain lead her right into this very witness stand with clearly malicious intent that plopped her here all on her very own. She's right where she deserves to be. Exposed as the liar she is.
