Another lwb recumbent very comfortable. My Linear Limo which fold! Not like a Brompton but good enough for car transport. Mine as uss steering, big apple tire and 1X11 34 front chain ring and 11 -50 cassette which enable me to get up very steep hills. The first of my bike with that type of steering which I now considered more comfortable than ordinary steering set up. As a footnote Linear is an american product from your NY state

Wow! Not the hottest design, but definitely very comfortable, and the fold is remarkable. I wonder how many miles you have done on it on a single trip as your record....

My biking is very local, here in Sainte-Julie Qc. 35-40km. My second bike, which i consider the equivalent to the Brompton is my Bike Friday Sat R Day equipped with the latest Swytch kit( see picture in BROL classified) . Wth this bike, i managed ride of 50-60 km in the Eastern township, QC without the Swytch kit with only the old legs tired

In 1988 I bought my first recumbent, a Lightning P-38. It was OK, but I ended up returning to an upright Cannondale for a while. In 2006, I moved to Pennsylvania and I bought a Challenge trike to use on the bike trails made from abandoned railroad lines. I still have it, but ended up using it on a training stand. I first bought a Gold Rush Replica, then a Bacchetta Giro 20 aluminum. Liked it but found the short wheelbase (SWB) too twitchy. I was gettin' up in years, too, and the seat was the hard shell for speed. So, I traded it for a Bella, which I still have. I look forward to riding her every week.

@@SmallWheelWonderYes. About the same as a Gold Rush replica, but better pedal placement for me = no tingling butt, and firmer chassis and steering. I did love the look of my Gold Rush, though. All chrome and wonderful components with aero wheels, too.

I do wonder about the hard seat of the Toxy and other sporty designs.
