Sensei Morio Higaonna, the legendary Goju Ryu Karate master, was described over 30 years ago as “The Most Dangerous Man in Japan in a Real Fight" by another legend, Donn Draeger. We think today at 84 years old, Morio Higaonna is still very dangerous! What do you think?
@samjackson6066
10 ай бұрын
I watch alot of the older grand masters and believe the more they age, the more dangerous they become as they streamline alot of their techniques to eliminate threats in a more efficient way. What he lacks due to aging (and he looks amazing) he has shifted to developing on the other side with power and conditioning.

People don’t realise how hard these old school karate guys are, they’re literally rock hard. These men came up when you actually had to be strong as f-k to even make it beyond yellow belt not like today how they hand out black belts like candy after 18 months - 2years. That’s what’s given the traditional martial arts a bad name these days.!

@@masterj4777 I will. He fights according to rules. So if he has an exhibition match with someone who's allowed to fight with no rules he will likely lose against a skilled martial artist because of these (and others) techniques. Secondly, fighting someone who's fought professionally for years against someone who has not proves nothing. Not everyone does martial arts to be a cage fighter, some of us just want to protect ourselves from the average person (who's bad at fighting typically), shocker, I know.
