It's my Judo's Sia Naggi 🥋. You charge them, turn around backwards, slide underneath them whilst grabbing their arm, and yank them down. You connect the elbows on that and your opponent will slam off the ground face first at about 150 kph. They can bounce about 4-5 feet off the ground with it. It will shatter thier face bones and even make the eyeball pop out! Do it properly, and it's 100% lethal.

Isn't that first deflection move a bit to complicated and slow against a jab? Wouldn't it be faster and safer with the 2nd defense move you show(with the groin attack) and then strike the neck? Doesnt need much power when hitting the neck/throat. Blocking with the arm and elbow is really good compared to deflect and the hand(if you're too slow or a bit panicked. Plus putting your hands up tp protect the head is a pretty instinctual move for us. *All this said Im thinking of beginners - not experienced people!*

I'll admit its maybe faster to just move your upper body and head directlyto the left or right side tho. But just seems like that deflect mode is not the first move to learn beginners. Anyway Im not an expert and you are!

Yes sadly these things happen that’s why we advise to try to avoid conflict at all cost if possible if not always use reasonable force to defend yourself with.

Yes, bigger surface area but obviously depends where you are striking. Many people don’t know how to punch and in doing so will break their fingers.

@@LondonSelfDefenceAcademy interesting, i'll remember that. hopefully i'll never have to use any of these tips. once dojos reopen (still closed around here) i'm getting myself one to train properly or at least find someone willing to spar and experiment with me. but for now just watching your vids and ordered myself a punching bag and grappling dummy to practice on haha. something is better than nothing eh. have a great day!
