Recipe for: The Most Delicious Chirpanski Meatballs. Grandma's tried and tested recipe. Super Delicious!
Necessary products:
Minced meat - 500 g.
Potatoes - 4 pcs. (diced)
Onion - 1 head (finely chopped)
Carrots - 2 pcs. (finely chopped)
Red peppers - 2 pcs. (finely chopped)
Egg - 1 pc.
Breadcrumbs - 2 tbsp.
Parsley - half a bunch (finely chopped)
Canned tomatoes - 300 g.
Flour for rolling
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
Oil
Method of preparation:
Taste the minced meat:
In a bowl, put the minced meat, half of the finely chopped onion, the egg, breadcrumbs and parsley. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
Form the meatballs:
Shape the minced meat into meatballs about 50 grams in size. Roll them in flour. In a preheated pan with oil, fry the meatballs on both sides until golden. They don't need to be fried all the way through, just firm.
Prepare the vegetables:
In a pot with oil, fry the onion, carrots and peppers for 2-3 minutes until they are soft. Add the canned tomatoes, potatoes, 500 ml. water, salt, black pepper and paprika. Stir and bring to a boil. When the dish boils, add the meatballs and spread evenly. Reduce heat to low and simmer until potatoes are cooked, about 40 minutes.
Sprinkle the finished dish with finely chopped fresh parsley.
