Excellent work as always. If I'm lucky to have input early enough I always suggest lvl or lsl for interior and exterior posts that will be wrapped. They are straight to start and won't warp much over time. I'd be worried a post that large will continue to warp and could ruin all your nice work.

You never cease to amaze Spencer. I've learned so much from watching you, and I'd love to come spend a week or two with you just learning. I've only ever done one miter fold post wrap and when I was using a clamp to draw it together the piece got sucked in a little too far and I couldn't get it to pull back out. I wound up using some bondo and it turned out fine, but I was so bummed because I wanted it to turn out perfect like yours always do. The true measure of a craftsman is how easy he can make something look. You always make this stuff look so easy, and it isn't.

@@brucewilliamsstudio4932 If the post does shift in the future, do you think it's under warranty when this happens? There is risk involved for sure, but do you think he warranties his work for more than 1 year? What is standard in this area? I have asked in the comments how he prices his work a few videos of his so here's to hoping he sees it and maybe make a video about it.
@brucewilliamsstudio4932

@@MV-wb2cz A standard warranty for this type of work would be one year. I trust that Spencer has anchored the post adequately to ensure that movement isn't going to happen under normal circumstances. He's highly qualified and knows what he's doing. Pricing depends on multiple factors which include: a) geographical location, b) competition, c) demand for your particular skill set, d) how much the builder is willing to pay for top notch work. In other words, it depends.
