with the baby powder the concern might be that it could have lead or arsenic in it, i know johnson and johnson got sued about their baby powder being contaminated, so best not to use any old bottles of it. i assume it's similar for other products meant to go on the body as standards and regulations have changed so much in the past few decades

There're some products with ingredients that will slowly start to separate if left long enough. It depends on many factors such as the differing weights of the ingredients contained within. Certain ingredients will be affected by things like heat, moisture, oxygen or even if it's not been moved or is being moved around regularly.

Milky milky! - once had a pint of milk in my fridge that had been there for er.....quite some time and was......lumpy and colourful. We decided to take said milk in a mates car in the back corner shelf wedged under the seat belt but out of sight of his wing mirror, we knew he didn't go into the back seats. Got a rather abusive call a couple of days later, turns out his brother and sister found said milk whilst cleaning the car or something and he had to try to explain to them that it was a prank. Said milk spent the next few weeks being secreted in peoples houses hidden away, how it didn't leak or break I don't know but it was sooooo funny.
