Fun fact about the Pig Vat trap: While the pigs themselves were made of foam, rubber, and latex, the maggots were real, alive, and sterilised. That much is obvious, but what's less obvious is that each individual maggot had to be returned to the provider upon completion of the scene.

I feel like the Classroom Trap should have been in the video. That one was a guaranteed death in multiple ways. Even without Amanda welding the door shut… there’s the chain hooked into the jaw… not removable without losing the jaw, which is death via blood loss. Even if there wasn’t one in the jaw, tearing out the ones in the Achilles Tendons would render him unable to walk, so he would fall down and then die from the explosion. But even if none of the chains were hooked into vital areas and the door wasn’t welded shut, he still had to rip out 11 chains, which would more than likely still result in death by blood loss from all the wounds combined. To me, the Classroom Trap was the most unwinnable trap because even without the welded door, there was no way of surviving it based on how it was intended to be beaten. Literally the only way to possibly survive it is included in this channel’s Saw 3 video, but even that would require the person to somehow quickly piece together how the bomb works, and the timer was only around 90 seconds. So even that is unlikely to happen, making it an even stronger case that the Classroom Trap should have been included here.
@Mike1064ab
9 ай бұрын
Obviously by then John Kramer aka Jigsaw was unaware she made a trap like that or unable to do anything about it because he definitely would not have approved of that one since he always seemed to want people to have a chance to learn from their mistakes and live even if they were horribly mutilated as a result since that’s what a lot of these traps would do even if you survived them.

It surprises me that it never gets mentioned in any videos. Perhaps because it isn't popular. It's the hardest trap for me to watch personally. Just in case anyone’s wondering why Seth Baxter ended up in the pendulum trap in Saw 5, here you go! He was the one who killed Mark Hoffman’s sister, Angelina. In a flashback, you’ll see her body being found and the cause of death was her throat being slit! He was so hurt when he found her body What really made Hoffman mad was that Seth only served 5 years out of his original sentence for 25 to life for her murder and got let out because of a technicality! Angelina was the only family Hoffman had left, so he put Seth in the trap as revenge for his sister’s demise!

Most Evil trap Award to me (outside of rigged traps) has to be a tie with the Electric Bathtub from Saw 5 vs. the Shotgun Carrousel from Saw 6. First, as someone that has Epilepsy (getting that in my mid-20s), all electric traps touch a nerve for me here. Part of what makes this trap evil is exactly how only one person can be turned into a human conduction device while alive. I know the person killed during this trap gets killed with one stab, but that's lucky for her! If she had been alive while stuck in that bathtub, talk about full-body, constant, full-brain pain until the right brain bits shut down!! As for the Shotgun Carrousel, John's basically making Easton do exactly what he did to random patients, except Easton has worked with every single one of these people. Sure, I hate the job in mind that literally every single one of them had, but Easton's the guy making the ultimate "Yes or No" on people's survival with healthcare. Those folks are just there for the paychecks, and likely, basic medical benefits for themselves and their families (one of the women that survived mentioned her kids, so we have to persume that's likely a similar enough situation for at least one other victim of this trap). As a cashier at a car dealership currently, if some angry serial killer tied me to some trap due to what my boss did, I'd certainly have a similar reaction to the last guy killed by the device if my boss decided, "No, I want these other people to live instead".
@BmanTheChamp
9 ай бұрын
If I had to choose I'd say that the Shotgun Carousel was worse, because the bathtub wasn't meant for one person, it was meant for all 5. The idea was if they had listened to Jigsaw and done the opposite of their natural instincts, then they all would have suffered a small shock. The Shotgun Carousel, 4 people were going to die regardless.
@Shadowcat753
9 ай бұрын
@@BmanTheChamp Fair point there, but Jigsaw made it so all the traps in Saw 5 could be done either via killing people or by all working together, since he was pretty sure that all the victims would stick with their instincts and be utterly selfish. And the worst thing is that he was actually right about that until the last trap! With the Shotgun Carousel, 4 people die either way.
