She was a very safe driver, always went the limit, always stayed in her single lane, always left plenty of room for drivers to see her. It didn't matter. Her side was slammed into by a vehicle that ran a red light. If she was in a car, she would've been fine. Because she was in a motorcycle, she was heavily damaged. I agree with the take of keeping fast cars on race tracks, however there's a huge issue with that happening rn. Tracks across the U.S. that have been in use for years, even decades, are being shut down due to suburbs popping up next to them, and saying "oh yea we won't do anything about the track, we know what we are doing building next to a race track," then going back on their word, and getting the tracks shut down. I see them running stop signs, yield signs, and red lights all the time. Then when they almost get themselves hit by a car, they have the audacity to yell at the driver and damage the car as if the driver wasn’t paying attention; like no dude, *you* broke the rules of how traffic works and the only reason you aren’t in the back of an ambulance right now is *because* the driver was paying such good attention.

Jackson, the whole thing about boycotting games over these character designs is because it's a slippery slope that leads to Concord. There are these weird moral grandstanding artists, who do not care about games, and have entered the space spitefully to try to correct some perceived imbalance in the industry. Every classic disney character is conventionally attractive too, and this was long before coomer discourse. They made a legacy of animating conventionally attractive women who are marketable for decades. This stuff matters, and nobody had an issue, because everyone just enjoyed looking at the nice looking characters. They were not marketed as sex objects, they were pieces of children's media. Actually, you know what, this is deeper than attraction. Look at the fish in The Little Mermaid in comparison to the remake. You see the same discourse with people going "ew, that looks real, why did you make the fish so gross?" and no, it's not because people want to bang the fish. People want these entitled liberal arts weirdos out of these positions, because they're making our entertainment ugly and it's annoying.

That is entirely the fault of the character artist or artists responsible, and those allowed them to stay in those positions. I have a friend in Miami who was hit by a speeding motorcyclist while he was crossing a street on a crosswalk. He is lucky to be alive, he blacked out the moment he got hit and woke up in the hospital covered in massive bruises, broken bones and missing skin. Doctor told him that blacking out saved him cause of the whole rag-doll effect. The cherry on top, that motorcyclist wasn’t even insured.. I actually have no idea what happened to the cyclist, I never really asked, but I think he also survived.

Don’t know if anyone cares but for the guy slamming into stuff in the bike lanes it’s was Casey Neistat. He was slamming into cars and things in the bike lanes in New York was because he had gotten a ticket by NYPD for riding his bike on the side walk and wanted to show how impossible it is to use the bike lanes with how often they are obstructed by things.

Bike riders can be the biggest brats in the world. This is coming from a bike rider. As for the noise pollution from cars conversation. I do love loud cars, but I also like not angering people. Lord knows my old neighbors definitely didn’t like my old dodge sputtering into life at 6 in the morning, and I felt mortified every time I drove the thing. Though once I hit a rural place, and could let it get loud. I loved every second of its bellowing.

I was a safe motorcycle driver for a year. Someone hit me at 50 mph at a stopped red light. Never riding a bike again because it’s just completely out of your control, but I’m at least lucky to still walk unlike most riders. It’s just not worth it unless there are motorcycle only roads. Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk
@littlejack59

There are 3 big reasons why people race on public roads 1. The highway is empty so they cant really hit anyone for 50 miles. 2. Tracks are disappearing and are becoming more expensive. I have to drive an hour out of my way just to go to a tiny donut track with a drag strip which is not at all like a racetrack. If i wanted to go to a proper track i would have to drive at least 2 hours to get to it and it would be pretty expensive. Lots of tracks are getting shut down for bs reasons. Housing developers usually lobby politicians to change zoning laws allowing them to build houses next to a drag strip for cheap, then after the land is bought or once the houses are built they start going back on their word and complaining about the noise until they shut down the track. It at the very least forces the track to charge more becauses they have to deal with all the legal bs. We are actively seeing this happen to cleetus mc farlens (idk how to spell his name) track. There was a shooting rang 20 minutes away from my house that had a community built near by so they started complaining and shut down the range that had been there for 80+ years because of the community that was built the year prior. No way for people to have fun safely anymore. 3. Their dickheads.

Counter point to kinda dismantle Jackson’s argument here. Car Guys wouldn’t have to resort to speeding on the highway if it was for Karens and losers building their houses next to race tracks and complaining to get them closed. They get closed and people have no where to go. Autocross isn’t as popular. Also, if it’s about endangering lives, then spending on backroads and old unused US highways are less dangerous than you going to McDonald’s in a city. Since you have more chances to kill people driving safe in a crowded area due to traffic, than someone speeding on a US highway that sees maybe 3-5 people a day. I don’t advocate for speeding, but when you only option is highway or public road. You choose the safer option. Also, Andrew. A lot of Car guys are spending hours lifting, getting crushed, burned, and bruised while working on their cars. Cyclists aren’t winning a fight brother. Being fit, and knowing how to fight is vastly different. I’ve seen short portly men stomp fit tall men.

This is kind of a stupid argument kinda like if people shot their guns in a residential because there’s no shooting ranges anymore and Ik you said you don’t encourage speeding but like why should people use alternate inconvenient roads cause dushbags want to be selfish instead they should use those roads if anything

I was hit by a reckless driver on drugs and the accident involved death. He hit me and another car. Basically the charges for something like that are usually just manslaughter but in my case because there was proof he was driving so recklessly (wrong way on drugs) we went to trial and they tried to charge him with murder, driving while intoxicated and tampering with evidence (throwing drugs out the window.) he was charged with all three and got 23 years in jail. I think they just try to charge you with murder if you’re driving like a massive idiot idk about the rest

There is a whole laundry list of charges that would be brought against anyone caught going 180mph on any public road in America. Speeding (criminal) and driving to endanger (reckless endangerment) are just two I can think of off the bat and i believe both are felonies in most states. And that's assuming you don't hit anyone or try to outrun the cops which would tack on additional charges if you survive.

I think the biggest problem with Concord and other games having the same issue is that people are tired of being preached at. Like we get it at this point. There’s nothing inherently wrong with having just normal average looking characters, but it feels like studios are making it a point to uglify their characters to show how good of a person they are by “taking on beauty standards” if that makes sense.

While I agree with Jackson that gamers whining about female video game characters not being hot enough are stupid and that a video game character being physically attractive shouldn't be seen as absolutely necessary, it's not like a character being attractive and a character being big are mutually exclusive.

I remember an episode where these three boys were ranting about anime(probably One Piece) for 35 minutes, during that time Charlie didn’t say a single word, I even forgot he was there, eventually someone compared OP to DBZ and Charlie bursted in with a “WOAH WOAH I kept quite long enough” and the episode became alive and it made sense like the punchline to the joke. I remember clearly because it made me realize that while Charlie never actually said much during the shows, he spoke VOLUMES.

It would at the very least cause the other vehicle to lose control at highway speeds and then probably hit the barrier or other cars. I'd be interested to see an actual crash test of this. 180 mph is so damn fast you are right it could cause lots of kinetic damage.

My dad is a car enthusiast and he goes to tracks or to meetups to race. There you can drive your motorcycle or old hotrod as fast as it can go. If you're gonna do it on public roads like a highway or country road then only do it if there's no other cars around. Sometimes I get so lucky that I'm alone on the road. But only on certain hours in the day usually, like late evenings. I hate people who speed demon in the city. That's where you kill some poor person just crossing the road. No common sense...
