Oh my gosh, I adore the Devonshires. I also read an excellent book which was primarily letters the five Mitford sisters wrote each other and Deborah "Debo" was one grounded and very funny Duchess. I adored the picture you had of Debo in the evening gown with the chickens!! The sisters called them "recs" because one early morning when they were young all the chickens in the snowy dew dropped yard looked like a bunch of ship wrecks, so "rec". One time she told a story about she and the Duke were at a lovely dinner with loads of lovely people and he caught her eye and opened his mouth and his dentures had dislodged and were falling down in his mouth!! I used to have a coffee table book featuring Chatsworth i do believe Deborah had created it, it was a book you would purchase in the gift shop when visiting Chatsworth. Tell me, Perigrine is the current Duke? I Love Chatsworth, i Love the Mitfords and of course that means i Love the Devonshire/ Hartington family in its entirety, they are a solid good family. Id love to meet the Duke and Duchess one day for rec pie. 💞💖💖💖

Beautiful jewels and I liked hearing about them. The background music was too loud. Please moderate it a bit so it doesn't overwhelm your narration. Thanks.

Many of the Grenville pieces were left to the queen mother. So probably went from there to the late wueen’svprivate collection

I love everything but the parure. It may be famous and versatile but it's too flashy for me

Well presented and researched Thank you. May I help I heard you struggle with this word before...Parure... Try this, Pa...Roar its not a perfect pronunciation but better than the one you use... You Lovely Scottish accent...Just doesn't like this word. Pa Rure so hit the last syllable and try it...Pa Roar... Many People say it this was now!!
