Absolutely beautiful! Many exorcists have also recommended playing Gregorian Chant regularly in our houses since the enemy hates it and the Latin language itself.

How was it? Was it hard to follow along with the Latin? I've only seen a few clips of Tenebrae but I've never attended in person because none (and I've checked) of the parishes in my diocese pray it.

I love that era of music. I listen to religious music most of my day…when I’m not listening to more mundane operas and oratorios :)). When the Church had money, they spent it very wisely on great art. When I listen to all the religious songs created during the early to mid eighteenth century it connects me to the Spirit

Lord, forgive those hypocrites who condemn others, preach hatred against other Christians. Lord, teach us true humility and Unity. You are present with all Christians. Arrogance and division is NOT of God. It comes directly from the evil one.

@@mtaylor3771 is it? Or rather is it a new style of expressing one’s love and devotion to God. They said the same of Handel’s Messiah and I’m sure the gregotian chants. I believe Amazing Grace was originally a drinking song. How about let people enjoy what they want and express their love of God in their own medium. I think God is able to handle different modes of music even if you cannot.
