I like that basically the first thing you mention about the truck is how you loved the color, but it's everywhere now and that bums you out, while on your channel you are debuting a new MultiCam wrap to freshen it up. Not sure if that timing was intentional, but great interplay between the narratives.

The thing I like about Mike the most is that he keeps it "real" as it were. He doesn't "glamour" camp as much as most of the overland people I see. Mike is the type that if all his electronics failed, he could still survive and make it until he found civilization. That's the problem I see with most of the people who get into this. Yes I understand it's a hobby but it's also the crossfit iteration of the outdoor camping and survival.

If you go out to camp and you need 15 different electronic devices. Are you really camping? Tent, cooler with food, wood for fire, kayak for water. No phone, no extra power. Just you and nature. Now, if I wanted to do a ski touring weekend, I'd set up my Taco with a rooftop tent, solar power to keep my food cold, myself warm, and my Bluetooth speaker working. Other than that, meh. With that being said, Mike is awesome, really appreciate the details he put into his rig, will be adopting some for my lil 99 Taco :)

Snookers negative feedback is generally best expressed with constructive criticism in the form of a comment. There is definitely a culture of "hating" for no other reason than jealousy, insecurity, bitterness, or any number of other weird things in society.
@SwellRunner

I personally don’t care for negative comments. Now if a comment is actually constructive, THAT’S useful. BUT, usually negative comments are just keyboard commandos hiding behind a keyboard saying mean things for the sake of online argument. Take you for instance. You mentioned that you found it annoying that I hearted a comment. To me, that is a personal jab that has a negative tone, and your comment isn’t constructive or useful.
@Snookers_

@@SwellRunner Sorry, that was tired-from-finals me last night, and I didn't say things constructively. I do, however, still believe that hearting a comment that says your video doesn't deserve dislikes is "wrong". Water in a jug, single burner $35 stove, sleeping in a tent. Out of curiosity, what in your mind separates 'camping' from 'glamping'? Does the tent have to be less than 4' elevated? I don't necessarily disagree wholeheartedly - just curious as to what it is that pushes it into glamping territory, and I'm assuming it's the singular fact that my tent is on a truck instead of the ground...

I wouldnt call that glamping. Its an overlander type build. Load up on friday go our for the weekend and enjoy getting far into a trail. Saves time on camp set up and clean up. And besides i go camping to be outside and enjoy outside. Whether i sleep on the ground or on a truck what does it matter.
