THE MOST HOLY BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST (CORPUS CHRISTY)

In this passage from the gospel (Mk 14/12-16.22-26), Mark describes what happened at the Last Supper where Jesus instituted the Holy Eucharist, that is, the Most Holy Body and Blood of Jesus Christ the Lord. “The Feast of Corpus Christi: 'Day of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Jesus Christ the Lord', also known as the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, has had its origin at this Last Supper.
