Stamina, it's the key to everything. Without that physical conditioning, all your skill, speed, and power are useless, because once you gas out you are just a punching bag. It sucks knowing all these cool combos and defensive movements and you are in the ring and you gassed out and can't even lift your hands let alone throw a punch, can't move your head, can't even move your feet, all because you gassed. More importantly, you can't even think about what to do because you're just dead in the water. So, stamina, aka "cardio", is king.

I run. Usually up and down hills both forwards and backwards. Stairs, too. Old school. Any recommendations. Best wishes.

You'll fight like you train. Number one mistake of new fighters is dropping their hands and taking their own little breaks during bag work. You will fight like you train kids. You just will.
