“Begged to pay for an hour of his time” was perfectly worded IMO. Very valuable perspective. PS. Thanks to the whole team for the content!

@Fon Daul, CEO here … the camera work was a significant upgrade from the past. Really good work - the tech and the team’s experience is leaps and bounds. Tighten up the commentary and look out …

The weekend was awesome. 1, I liked how it was broadcast as like you said I didn’t have to fast forward all the dead heats and masters to get to the last couple of heats that actually Mater to the results even with P score. 2,John young was better than I thought he would be but I agree with Tylor when he was shouting out split times to athletes that’s a no go for a commentator that’s meant to be impartial. 3,Souza you turn on the mike was awesome and was a good alternative to Bill and John! 4,My most controversial comment here the day Sevy was at his kids BJJ comp was the best coverage with you guys some times when it come to the sports side I wish he would stay in the background a bit more but on affiliate stuff he’s awesome .

Souza adding this into the affiliate/de-affiliate. Look at Summit CrossFit in Asheveill, NC. Destroyed from the hurricane. If they are not an affiliate, they get none of the huge support and donations from the community. And then there gym would be gone..... Just something to think about. Nobody from two states away is going to help out a functional fitness gym.

The Level 1 was the strength of CF as it democratized the fitness industry and let people with huge training and sports backgrounds to open game changing gyms. It's a weakness now because too many gyms let brand new Level 1 coaches run classes because they've outgrown the original business model and/or can't be arsed coaching anymore.

Remote workers aren't productive? Where do you record your podcast from? Where does Sevan record his podcast from? There are challenges to remote work and there are challenges to co-located work. Some jobs lend themselves to remote work more than other jobs. But largely it comes down to the individual worker being capable of remote work. It is a skill.

No we’d be a 1000x more productive in the same building, and to compare a podcast to a company is a terrible take.

@@MatthewSouza perhaps you just need to improve your remote work skills. Or relocate everyone on your team. If any company limits their hiring to skilled workers who are passionate about the company's mission and who either live close enough or are willing to relocate, you will be limiting yourself to a very small pool and likely not be successful. Remote work allows people all over the world to collaborate and work together if they know how. You and Sevan are building more than just individual podcast episodes and I suspect you text and talk with your co-workers throughout the day. It is possible to be very productive and work remotely.
