have you guys tried this line in live poker? have you noticed how UNBALANCED your opponents are when they bet the river?
@NHHUNTNH

I do this in live 1/2 a lot. Mostly they have nothing, busted draws, bottom pair, small pocket pairs etc. for some reason, people seem to think that if you check the turn, you are giving up and they can buy the pot on the river, never value.

Hi, thx a lot for this very insightful video. I have a few brief questions that would be amazing if you give them a quick answer. Are you simplifying to cbet all non SDV on the turn? Hands like A6s without draws are a 2nd barrel? (At equilibrium they are, but vs fish is it still the same advice?) If they bet 75% on the river, you overfold? Does this strategy apply to single raised pots (IP as PFR)? Thanks a lot again for the high quality content. Keep it up!
@hungryhorsepoker

hey! yes, i would bet all non sdv ott, but the wider the config, the more sdv we have. so srp ip btn vs bb, i may x back all ax thinking it has sdv. in a 3bp i may bet a6s thinking it doesnt have sdv. if they bet 75% on river i overfold in 3bp for sure yes it applies to srp ip

Another great video. I fully get barreling draws on the turn, but barreling air makes me nervous with my sticky player pool. A guy called my triple barrel AI shove with an underpair of 3s the other day 😂. Of course running bad the past week or so, so image could definitely be part of that...but doesn't barreling air just give us way too many bluffs too frequently? Do you ever recommend adjusting this for image if/when we get caught bluffing in a session or are just plain running bad? Oh yeah and whats up with this HH 2.0? Hope you are still offering the bootcamp, planning on joining in the fall or possibly spring next year. Keep up the great work!
@hungryhorsepoker
2 ай бұрын
the stickiest players are the ones who barreling air is best against because they get to the river with too many hands that will fold. one adjustment you could make with air is just bet very small to get their draws that beat you to fold, but usually at 200+bb i’m a fan of the big hammer.

@hungryhorsepoker. I just left a similar comment to this one where 33-33-150 line might be profitable, but that also means we value cut ourselves on the turn. How do you play your air on ace high boards? BBB when they already over fold ace high boards seems bad. This BBB line or BXC line is great for dynamic boards but what about the dry boards? Now you have way more air in range.

I think this line in SRP is much more profitable than this exact line in a 3! pot. I think fish massively under bluff in general, especially on rivers and especially in 3! pots when they're the oop caller. I think a lot of the time here if you call you're being shown Jx. If they check again I think going thin for value is okay though.

15:00 betting all your air, draws, and TP+ on the turn. Then, on the river, you are just bluff catching vs b50 with TT, 9x, and 88-55? Earlier in the video, you mentioned the horses were barreling too much, but this is because they are only supposed to check weak sdv on the turn? So, are you still betting like 80-85% of your range on the turn and river? Can't we just use a BXB line with our air like Ah5h 7d6d for no pair, no draw? BBB with air feels very volatile and spewy. I would play BxB with air. And BBB with TPGK+ and draws. Then BXB with 2nd pair + and air and some tpwk etc. Thoughts on bluffing river with negative blockers, i.e., missed front door flush draw?

The more I follow you, the more I like your style. At the same time I see you really push very hard on the exploitative pedal. It would be nice to know how you adapt when playing vs a good opponent and not recreational one. For example in a 3bet pot when you use the bet flop and check back turn line, on the river a good opponent will almost always bet big (pot or overbbet) and never usie a 50% pot size, adding checks with a good protected range and some checkraise (for bluff and for value ). That's all a different story than playing vs our rec friend. Infact an exploit that I use really often vs some regs is checkraise big on the river vs their b/x/b line when the nuts doesn't change. They fold nearly every time because they are capped on a top pair that never plays for stacks.
