also crocs have their own dentists: when they eat meat, some rests of the food can't be cleaned by themselves. so they willingly let their mouth open and birds clean it and also get extra food.

I mean... it probably also depends on the waterfall... If it's not a lot of water and/or it doesn't fall to far, you can probably survive it... The experiment they showed was proabably a ton of water, maybe even more, all getting dumped on that car at once, rather suddenly, so of course it smashed the car. It's like you throw a brick wall onto it and the car can't move to lessen the damage. If you manage to get hit by as little water as possible, you could probably survive jumping through a waterfall. I'm no expert by any means, but it just reminds me of the fact that when you jump into water, depending on how you do it, you'd either end up completely fine, or be effected as if you landed on concrete, so I don't doubt something similar can happen with vertical water.

With the mouth brooding fish, you should look into the fish (a kind of catfish, if I remember correctly) that replaces those babies with predator babies. The mother doesn't even recognize the event so after all her babies are eaten, she will then take care of the predators' babies.
