Howdy everyone! This is probably the best way to teach yourself framing. I made more mistakes than I showed on camera, but they didn't cost me anything! This was an incredibly fun and educational project, and I can't wait to finish the house. As always, have a fantastic day :)
Pepper’s Story
I was about to leave my house for the steel supplier when I saw something dragging a leash and walking very fast in the rear view mirror. So, naturally, I got out and started chasing it down (I have caught 2 other stray dogs and returned them to their owners that way). So, my sister and I cornered him after I jumped a fence to cut off his exit. He had a very heavy leash and collar that was much too big for him, but no name/phone number. We took him over to our house and he wouldn't eat any of the dry dog food we have, but he would eat the wet cat food. Then we brought him out some water, and he drank most likely a third of his body volume in water. After drinking the water, he was able to eat the dry kibble. We took him to the vet to make sure he wasn't sick and to check for a microchip. He wasn't sick and had no chip. So, we took him home, gave him a bath that for the first two rounds turned the water brown and now he is our dog. When we found him, he weighed 7 lbs, now he weighs 9 lbs, and he is supposed to weigh 12 lbs. His coat, weight, and mood have all been improving, and his favorite game is fetch. He insists I play it with him every morning when I am having breakfast.
