So sad that you had to face indians there in Nepal as well. I was in Pokhara for new year and I actually was shocked by the no of Indians in Nepal . I found out that india and Nepal share open border and its a lot cheaper to travel to Nepal than in India even for Indians so they came in Pokara . I was there for 2 months , not a single Nepali asked me for a selfie . Nepali people were so so warm and amazing but Indians didn’t care about our personal space. I recently found out that Indian government pays many Nepali ministers under the table and own them and they recently passed this bill that allows indians to be Nepali . A process to actually annex this beautiful country in future. I was heart broken 💔. Enjoy while you can . Go to annapurna if you can .

Yup everything checks out. Google who made the Nepali constitution. In Delhi India. We didn’t ask for republic , secularism , federalism but our planted leaders went to India and signed 12 points Delhi agreement and did this. Our country is now a hot mess. And you are spot on about citizenship bill. Spot on.

India is friend of Nepal only on paper, not in reality. India has been real enemy of Nepal since monarchy. During the monarchy , India did not have upper hand, now our slave politicians to Indians sold out the soul of Nepal. I feel bad for our country and the people of Nepal. But everything has it's beginning and the end. Sooner or later India's occupation in Nepal will be dismantle and despaired.

Hi- I will be travelling to Nepal in Autumn 2023 but struggling with what to pack (apart from hiking gear) for warmer areas. Are sleeveless tops acceptable as I'd read it was seen as disrespectful not to cover your shoulders and knees but you don't seem to be? Or does that only apply to KTM/Pokhara?

You can wear whatever is comfortable to you. We won't judge you. We are a free democratic country. Nepalis also wear sleeveless and shorts, etc, especially for hikes.

Native of Pokhara here. I'm finding it hard to process and comprehend what circumstances led the vlogger/You Tuber/tourist to conclude that this place is "underrated". 😂😂 It's very much lively and well spotted in the map of travellers and traveling, and isn't by any means, a place that remains in oblivion such as many other beautiful places in remote Nepal do.

Hello, 🏵🏵🏵May I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His STRIPES we are HEALED." God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?

There are already so much divide and hate in the world, why create more? People act differently due to number of factors- culture, upbringing, circumstances, geographical affiliation, media, etc. When my brother went to India, he told me few of the locals asked him for pictures. I thought it was cute and sweet of them. As someone mentioned in the comment section, let’s not generalize or stereotype people of India based on the political circumstances. Although, it might be hard for some of you to believe but I am a Nepali and have been to India and they were very warm and friendly people. Leave the politics and take people for who they are. Any person from any part of the world.

heartily welcome to beautiful Nepal . Nepal is the most secure and free society country in South Asia. Due to the open border between Nepal and India, the society has deteriorated when Indian people came here in Nepal. But Nepali people are very helpful and humanitarian. Nepal is a safe country like Thailand, Philippines and China. In Nepal, women and girls can freely travel alone. Every year, thousands of young women from western countries come to visit Nepal alone. Many tourists come to Nepal from Europe, America, Japan, China and other countries. Have a good trip. Do enjoy .

lol it seems u forgot what happened when india did blockade, as u guys claim urselves. Indians dont bother a tiny bit about Nepal, stop making it all about your country as if Indians aspire to go there. We ourselves want the fencing of our border with Nepal to prevent our resources. For my fellow Indians- It is high time India should stop treating Nepal as its brother/friend.
