...so they gave you a free sample hoping you would start buying their instant recipe. It's a new trend. They don't care what you think they are just interested in making a new business idea work. I think it's strange but I work at a packaging company so I want more packaging ....and much more ...cuz it's $$$ in my back pocket ...it's all good

I've always wondered about the packaging waste in those boxes and it's one of the reasons we don't buy them- cool video! I noticed that you mentioned "Burning the box" and the cardboard. Would you not consider composting the cardboard instead since you are looking into sustainable farming? Burning cardboard is pretty harmful for the environment - You can even compost wax coated cardboard, it's just going to take a longer time.

There are lots of glues and ink print in/on these boxes that we would rather not compost, we heat our home with an outdoor wood furnace so that takes care of cardboard/paper waste and then we can use the ash in the garden safely, its not perfect, most people put it in their recycling bin but that's just incinerated at the plant anyways LOL

Even eggs need protection, I honestly don’t see what you are on about. Let’s see what you would do differently….. with the same shelf life they have. Think you are comparing buying unwrapped fresh produce versus a healthy (unprocessed) meal with some decent shelf life. Sorry to burst your idealistic bubble. This product is not a fair comparison to buying fresh in bulk, it is not there target market clearly. As you said it is Ready to Eat , actually it is not, it is Ready to Cook. No offence, but try showing us how you would do it better. Talk is cheap, even cheaper than plastic wrap. Can you do better, let’s see……package your own farm product and try to sell it at a profit. A business opportunity for you. What do you say?
