Gonna be honest, I could listen to Joel talk about practically anything for hours and hours nonstop. Despite immense success, he has managed to keep it pretty down-to-earth and he has a damn good head on his shoulders so the criticisms he makes are *mostly* on target.

Mr.bills music is so next level. My favorite artist by far. And the album collaborative endeavors introduced me to soooo many new artists. Thank you so much for your music. So inspiring, I have so many memories and good trips off your music. Thank you.

@30:00 or so. Messy Jesse here. I lost all interest in writing music around 10 years ago, so I started buying a shit load of gear to hopefully make writing music interesting again. I've built and own 2 workstation desks and a lazy couch studio. Ill spend a day and design/ write a club banger intro and drop. Listen to it on repeat and lose all interest working on it. Probably have hundreds of these unfinished projects that I never want to hear again. Super frustrating! Rebuild a transmission to get away from music come back and same shit. Maybe we should kill more brain cells and get stupid to keep writing interesting. I admire you Joel for being able to immediately ditch a track you're not feeling without question. I save everything... Bill you're way of making music is so fast and simple. I kinda hate you but you're still inspiring! I think Ill gates does the same thing mudpies??

What a great podcast,I love listening to Joel talking. He's still the realest person in the industry and the only one you can relate to. Unfortunately 58:12 this is where I had to turn off the podcast, after he started chewing so loud, which is something that causes me physical pain. I don't understand how is somebody eating so obnoxiously on a podcast... Really sad.

1:20:30 onwards part about feeling you know someone because of their fame when they know nothing about you and you don't really know them is so true. It's exactly why I think whenever I see a celebrity I have no idea what to say cos im juggling those factors mentioned in my head. Like how do you say something to someone who you have a certain perception of like you know them when you don't and they don't know you? I sort of perceive celebrities as kinda cartoon characters where they're basically not real and a character you see based on their public domains. It's always bizarre when you actually see a celebrity because of how normal they look cos obviously they're just a regular human being like anyone.

Big up for this podcast. Not here to kill the good topics vibes so just a clarification, neurons discarge at 430km/h more or less and superluminal speeds exist in some medium (Čerenkov radiation) as well life is pretty common according to statistics. A great thing is that everything is moving across space at the speed of light and beyond because universe is expanding very fast

I used to find the pigeon thing weird. Once you understand the historical context though, they were ancient twitter. If a warrior saw something scary, they would release their trusty pigeon with a message home. Village would know something is up and would prepare for battle. It is a very antiquated thing, but city pigeons are sad cause they're domesticated. They're really not wild cause they were bred to be our messengers.
