It's so interesting to hear the letter Magda wrote. There is so much faith in the choices she made but the end result for a lot of them are death. Even if she was detached from the deaths of Jews, Romani people, etc. The fact that she was willing to even kill her children because it didn't fit into what she thought was right makes her to be more evil than many of the people in the inner circle. Killing people when you don't see them allows you detachment from what you're really doing (that's not to say that they weren't aware of what they were doing or that they are any less evil for what they did) but planning out the deaths of your young children and then either doing it yourself (or orchestrating it to happen in front of you) makes you, to some degree, a more vile person.

Pure evil? Sorry, but I think you're pure dumb, then. They knew if the Russians found their kids, and they would certainly do, a fate worse even than death awaited them. Many German women were r@aped during the Russians attack, and many kids were killed. Use your brain, what do you think would happen to the daughters of Gobbles? I don't even want to imagine it cause it would've been HORRIBLE! The parents will never be forgiven for what they did to their kids. Still, it's obvious that they did it out of love and care for their little ones. God knows how hard it must have been for them to take their own kids' lives. Don't judge people so easily, none of us will ever know how they felt.

I’ve been fascinated with this story ever since hearing about it. How could a mom do this, to her own kids, if it was her? How could you take away the lives that you yourself were responsible for bringing into the world? How can a person be so fucking brainwashed and detached from reality that they choose to kill their own kids, just for the sake of some stupid political ideology? Those are some of the (many) questions that have plagued me since I first read about this. There is a lot of footage of those kids online, in their day to day lives, that highlights their personalities. I always wanna cry when I hear about those kids. Those kids were/are adorable. They had NOTHING to do with what their parents did, or for their beliefs. They had no control over who they were related to, and these poor kids were also victims of a horrible horrible regime. Magda had a kid from a previous marriage, Harald, who was a prisoner of war at the time of his sibling’s deaths. He was only 23 when this happened. I’m 25, and an older sister myself. I cannot imagine being a prisoner of war and finding out that my siblings are dead, all at the hands of my own mom at that age. I would be plagued with trauma, guilt, and rage for the rest of my life. My mom would never EVER do something like this, she would die first before anything would happen to me or my brother or sister.

HOW! To hear your insinuation that Goebbels WASN'T.. Dad.. is remarkable. I've seen the pictures many times and subconsciously missed the obvious point. Since AH revered Magda.. Wow! What an amazing video sir, I remove my hat! I have also doubts about the childrens genetics: no doubt were Magdas children, but Josephs? Big doubt. Just because that family had to portrait the arian features of the german people, which of course Joseph didnt have. Actually I think if Joseph had been a regular citizen he would have been forced to sterilization. As for the children, had they any chance of survival being caught by the Russians? I doubt it. Many people killed their entire families on the side where russians were gaining terrain, and the Goebbels was just one of them. Many theories can be drawn here. Great channel 👌

You dont seem to know that Magda got an offer to bring her kids to switzerland and save them. She refused cause till the end, she wanted control over them. They could have been all alive but died because of her awful character and judgement. Also, the red army was even more savage than the nazis in some ways...they didnt care about anything. They raped little girls in front of their mothers who also got raped. They didnt had any moral code left...my great grandmother was ready to jump out of the window when a russian soldier stormed her home and was approaching her with a clear intention. Luckily, she didnt had to jump, cause another man came in and stopped this pig. Same goes for Japan at the time...what they did in Nanjing during WW2 is unspeakable but so many people dont know. Nazis were evil as hell but not the only benchmark of evil as it is portraied. Everyone involved back then was able to go so low that they end up as demons.
